Now, I don't mean to be rude, but how can you not make reports for the last race of a story, especially when the riders get results. I just don't understand, how knowing this will be the last race, there can be quick results posts anymore and not go full out.

True, though I do give credit to Ian, not many people can do 160 pages, I can't even play a career that long!
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"

Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

baseballlover312 - I can't do reports because the AI is out of control. Usually I recovered that by just putting my team in front all day long, but since I lost 3 guys in the last mountain stage, I can't afford to ride at the head of the peloton all day, so there are ridiculous time gaps made by a breakaway and there is the sprinting bug.
And instead of constantly making excuses here for the bad AI, I just try to make the Tour flow anyway without those reports.
Believe me, I wish that final Tour was AI-stupidity-free, but that's not something I choose. I hope the coming two mountain stages are better.

Well, mountain stage is totally bugged, too. You'll see in the next report. However, this is the final race of the story so the AI can't get the better of me, I'll try to find a way around all the bugs for the final stages. No idea how, maybe a lowered difficulty will allow me to break away instead of trying to get away on a mountain but not being able to get away from a 50 man peloton...

Tour de France - Stage 16
Stijn: I only have to survive two more mountain stages, first one today!
Willy: The clock is ticking! Time to gain time!
We see several riders trying to attack, maybe they smell a breakaway victory today?
The team of the yellow jersey seems reluctant to keep the pace, to Garmin is taking responsibility of keeping the break under control.
First attack from a GC favorite! Pinot in the Saxo Bank jersey!
Etxabe can't let that happen, so an immediate reaction. Europcar joins in the chase!
We've been waiting for this - Willy Wouters attacks! He's so close to a Tour victory!
Oh but it doesn't carry far, Sky and Europcar are destroying all attacks, keeping a high pace. Wouters seems to get in trouble now, in the final kilometer he looks blocked on these small roads!
Froome takes the win, amazing!
- Yes, he also seizes the leader's jersey, what a stage by the FroomeBot!
Willy Wouters, you lost time again, today. What happened?
Willy Wouters: I'm not sure. Maybe I could've timed my attack better. I wanted to recuperate a bit before the finale but then I got blocked, so I couldn't go to the front. Things aren't looking up, but as long as there as stages, there are chances.
Thank you, Willy Wouters, and good luck!

Winning time on Froome in the TT won't be easy, so Willy has to win serious time tomorrow...

PCM rulezz - I hope you're wrong, too
Miguel98 - Very true. It's annoying on these small roads.
Jesleyh - Last chance to gain time!
krisa - Thanks, hope so, too!

Tour de France - Stage 17
Stijn: What are you looking at me for? This is Willy's stage!
Willy: It's the day of the last chance, not counting the time trial. Despite the disappointment yesterday, we spent the entire evening cooking up a plan. Today we will bring it in execution. It's a risk, all or nothing. I'm ready.
Team Sky starts with an immediate control. They seem pretty confident with Froome in yellow.
And the peloton starts on the first climb, a l -- What's this? Wilco Kelderman places himself at the front of the peloton!
Oh - my, he's totally destroying the field, where's he going? It's still a long way to go to the top of the Tourmalet!
White jersey Lou Smeets joins in the pace-setting now. Clearly the team's putting all its money on yellow. With 70 kilometers left to go, 100 riders have been dropped already, this pace is killing everybody! Sky has almost got nobody left for Froome!
Willy Wouters has one key figure left, and what'll he do?
- He's making his move now! Talansky with an excruciating pace, only Wouters follows! It's still 50 kilometers to go!
- Well, this is what we like to see. Not defending a third place, but going all in, he could end up with everything, or lose it altogether!
Talansky brought him into pole position and his job is done. It's a waiting game now, Wouters going solo! We've seen him do this many times before, if anyone can do it, it's him!
Sky is still nowhere to be seen, so it's Froome who has to defend his own jersey! Amazing stage here, Belgium is slowly dying of tension!
But he's still comfortably in the lead, which is going towards the 2 minutes now! We're halfway the Tourmalet, not far to go now!
HE BRINGS IT HOME! Willy Wouters , amazing victory on the slopes of the Tourmalet! What a victory, what a win, what a glorious day for the stage racer from Ghent!
- And now we wait. This is taking long, still no Froome . - Oh, wait, there he is, he's lost the yellow jersey. Seconds ticking away aaaaand... Now he's crossed the finish line!
Willy Wouters, amazing solo. With this stage, you seize the yellow jersey back after a mediocre second week!
Willy Wouters: It's unbelievable. Since the time trial, I hadn't been feeling my usual self, but I found my good pair of legs when I woke up this morning. I knew I had to make up a lot of time, so I decided on a risky attack. It payed off!
With only a time trial left to decide the GC, Belgium is closer than ever to another Tour victory.
Willy Wouters: The Tour finishes in Paris. The entire team will do everything to defend the jersey, I'm sure. Without them, I would have never won the stage today. They completely messed up Team Sky. Only our boys can do that! I love these guys, so an amazing thanks to Wilco, Lou, Andrew and Stijn!
Enjoy this moment, Willy Wouters, and we'll talk again in Paris!
Willy Wouters: Thanks!

This is amazing, what a great solo by Willy! Team was great!!!!
Who's better at TTs btw, Froomebot or Willy?
Anyway, I'm sure Froome won't slaughter Willy in the TT anyway. But is Willy strong enough to hold on?
Spoiler
Btw, shame that Wilco is so far behind on Smeets on the GC. I think you know why

Ok, I was wrong But what win 48" is defensible in the TT. Good luck

The last rider I saw with such a solo in the Tour was: Landis. Hoping Willy did it on clean way
