Well, first of all: NOBODY POSTS PICTURES OF MONSTER GIRLS HERE BUT ME!!!! And if you do so, I'll start a witch hunt against you, just as USADA did. And the only nice thing about those Monster-girls are the boobs of the middle one that start to explode out of her shirt. My girls ( ) look better!
Secondly: No family chit-chat please.
Thirdly: Audet won't be the next Cancellara, as he won't be great in timetrialling. Maybe a second Flecha?
Finally: Yes, Djamolodine Abdoujaparov is one of my 4 coaches!!! I always feel the need of signing at least 1 legendary coache. Well, he is!
Additive: I don't care as people are more interested in the girls than in my story, as the only reason I write this story is to have a legimit reason to post pictures of these girls.

It has been a long time since I last commented on your story, but I am still following and reading everything. And congratulations on finally bringing home the Tour de France!
Andy has had the perfect year for him - he has won his two favorite races (LBL and the Tour). Will be interesting to see how he will do at the Vuelta. Good luck in Spain. |

The Tour de Pologne, the only World Tour race in former Eastern Europe. A race that is mostly used as a preparation race for La Vuelta, but for some the GC is important. Last year, the TdP featured some mountain top finishes, with Andy Schleck as the GC-winner.
The route
The route isn't difficult this year. The first 4 stages are pretty flat, so the sprinters will have a chance there. A mountain top finish in stage 5 and a hilly final of stage 6 will decide the GC, as stage 7 is flat again.

The favourites
*** Roman Kreuziger (Astana), Robert Gesink, Damiano Cunego (Radio Shack).
** Samuel Sánchez (Lampre), Giovanni Visconti (BMC), Filippo Pozzato (Katusha).
* Heinrich Haussler (Rabobank), Tom Boonen (Sony Ericsson), Dario Cataldo (Omega Pharma).
Our goal
With our riders not in the best form, we have no expectations here. We'll try to be in a breakaway, and maybe Gesink can shine in stage 5.

Stage 1
The first stage of the 2013 Tour de Pologne is 173 kilometres long and starts in Sochaczew. The finish awaits in the capitol of Poland, Warsaw.
The first 100 kilometres went incredibly fast, with a few ties a group of 15-20 riders trying to form a breakaway. But the sprinter teams (mainly Rabobank and Sony Ericsson) never let them create a margin of more than 2 minutes.
Then it was time for Thomas Dekker to attack, but also his attempt was fruitless. The positive thing was, that he secured himself of the KOTM-jersey for at least 1 day.
But the mass sprint was inevitable. And without a sprinter in the team, all we did was trying to bring our riders safely to the finish. Rabobank formed a great train with Marko Kump and Mark Renshaw leading out Heinrich Haussler, and Haussler brought it home. He took the win, beating Tom Boonen and Ben Swift. Best from our team was Sep Vanmarcke in 26th place.

Stage 2
Another flat stage today, but this one is 238 kilometres long. The start is in Rawa Mazowiecha and the finish in Dabrowa Górnica.
10km to go
The weather is horrible today in Poland, as the rain is pouring down. There has been a split in the peloton so far because of a crash 50km before the finish. And now with 10km to go, a 2nd crash occurs, but this time it's a big one, as only 47 riders manage to stay in the first peloton. Also many GC-contenders are part of the crash, as Sánchez, Ballan, Ruijgh, Voigt, Kreuziger, Cunego, Pozzato and Kiryienka.
Finish
In contrary to yesterday, Rabobank does a very bad job, so Haussler is nowhere to be seen. Tom Boonen is the fastest today, easily beating Marco Bandiera (Omega Pharma) and Leigh Howard (Qantas). Sep Vanmarcke finishes in 16th. All of our GC-contenders (Dekker-Gesink-Kelderman) finish in this first peloton, consisting of 47 riders. And because of a split up yesterday due to a smaller crash, only 35 riders have a chance at the GC-win.

None of your GC riders affected is the most important. Pity about Ruijgh though. When the hills arrive, your team will have the chance to shine. |
