TOUR DE SANTA CATARINA
Stage 5 – Orleans – Bom Jardim da Serra – 47.4km
Blythe/Team Novo Nordisk has decided to give it a go very early on
SPRINT - Blythe/Team Novo Nordisk
He is now on the lower slopes of todays major climb as three chasers in the background try and hunt him down
The three chasers finally catch him at the twenty kilometre to go banner, they are Vermeer/Cyclingteam Jo Piels, Windsor/Suzuki Bontrager and Hagenaars/Metec-TKH
MOUNTAIN – Romero/Jamis Hagens-Berman
The lead group is now six strong with the addition of Romero/Jamis Hagens-Berman and Boeye/Cyclingteam De Rijke but they only have 33s over the chasing peleton
The pace is high in the peleton as its all downhill to the finish at Bom Jardim da Serra
It looks like the winner today is going to come from this group, who will it be

A nice win there, some unique tactics paying off by the looks of it. A great way to end before Turkey and, of course, I was just having some fun. |
