Not a SKY fan boy, but don't hate them either, so it gets me that everyone hates them so much considering out of the to 10 in the 2015 there is previous dopers (Contador, Valverde) and the dirtiest team going around (Astana), and no one bats an eyelid. And realisticly other than one climb there has been little difference between Froome and Nairo Q. Additionaly this year just proves that Nibbles is really only the best of the rest, and he won by default last year. Just sayin. |

Not at home currently and had to watch the stage on live stream with english commentary. I eded up listening how Sky is the greatest team in the world and their super effectivenes in comparison brings to the others them so many haters, which is so wrong. I can't even recall why they talked about this but still.

Kennaugh did give Michael Rasmussen some hard feelings today telling him his a shame to the cycling sport . In front of Norweigian broadcast. Rasmussen made a Tweet about the impressive Thomas which could have been misunderstood..
If SKY was clean they would not have reacted like that. One more to the thread.

Im not a sky fan, not even Close. But i have never hated any person that dosent harm me or People i know.
Talking about hate give birth to more hate. One day some who listen to the hate talk stop talking and think its right to do something in real.
That that was today when somebody (a hater) throw urin at Froome. What happend NeXT? You haters should think about what you partisipate in and what you legitimizes. You cant just keep talking about hate and Wonder when someone act.

Totally agree! I am not a fan Sky (not really a fan of any team) but I certainly don't hate them, i'm all for people raising questions about Sky's performance and methods but why hate them or any team or cyclist for that matter. I can't even imagine what would be going through somebody's head to think that it is justified to throw urine on another person, its just bizarre and sad

+1 with hanspetter61.
People are here to support and not to hate. If there are cheaters; the conclusions should be given by the experts not by the public himself.
I was on the road, in the stage today, at 40 km after the start from Rodez and Chris Froome said that it happened from a guy wearing a mug about 50-60km after the start.
Even if I am not a Sky fanboy I would have punched that guy for being so stupid. |

I consider myself a fan of the sport. I do have some riders who i prefer more than others, from all teams and all countries for different reasons. But i dont understand hatred of riders or teams. I find solace in thef becoming the same. fact that i can watch a bike race, shout for my favourites and if they dont win I can feel respect towards the guy that did. Thats not the sort of thing that happens with football which is more of a tribal hatefest. Cycling is at risk of becoming the same and thats a shame. |

I don't think it was misunderstood, it was just cryptic. I think the message was something like this "Track rider Thomas destroy the climber Quintana". I think i would react the same way as Peter did to be honest and why on earth would a doped rider even dare open his mouth and question a clean (?) rider anyway.

Are you not in support of any attempt, however cryptic or feeble they may be, to break the omerta? What cycling needs is the former riders who have been through the whole dope process and know the full extent of the transformation doping provides, to say it like they see it, that cycling is no better than back in Rasmussen's day, rather than buying into the Vaughters fairytale of a clean peloton. The fact that the omerta is still so prevalent is one of the biggest obstacles to anti-doping.

The tweet was clearly aimed at Thomas if you know Rasmussen, he was not just impressed at Thomas, but suspicious at the same time, understandably so. No matter what he says, it was kinda obvious that was how the tweet should be understood...
Anyways, I heard that story as well, which again goes to show how how pathetic they are. I actually liked Kennaugh, but man, Sky are just a bunch of hypocrites. Froome got thrown urine at him and Porte spitted at - on one hand, its disgraceful and completely out of bounds, but deep down, I aint even mad. As a matter of fact I found it amusing since I am a bad, bad person. |

Kennaugh has been a bit of a prick to both Kimmage and recently Daniel Lloyd. Don't have any time for him.
So what Rasmussen said that, nothing wrong with it, bit of a suggestion to get people thinking.

You Can say alot of Rasmussen and his past but he is doing some serious good things against doping. Therefore SKY should support him, not oppesite if they really are on the same team. Surprisingly theyre not.

Yep, I for one am very glad that he outed Hesjedal as the fraud that he is. The Vaughters/Garmin (particularly Hesjedal) line of 'Well here's a team of "ex-"dopers who were at dodgy teams but now they've joined a clean team and stopped doping and now that they've stopped doping they're getting much better results, and when it's been proven that some of these results have been backed by dodgy blood values, the dodgy blood values are attributable to machine calibration errors. Nothing to see here.' looked really solid after that
