Fuglsang with really good legs on stage 11, a very good performance so far, also Schorn oddly consistent, 3rd in the points ranking currently, a nice surprise. But still nobody in a breakaway.

Decent stage for us at Giro. TVG finally showed a bit more, Pirazzi in break. If only Van Gerderen hasn't lost so much time early in the race. |

Two very tough stages for us. First we lose our sprinter Schorn on stage 13 and the next day Fuglsang loses 6 minutes on a flat stage and drops from 10th to 19th in the GC. No breakaway luck either.

A little bit weaker from Dombrowski on stage 12. Hope it's just a one off.

Caruso losing a bit of ground but he still remains in the top 10, so I can't complain about that. I am a little bit disappointed by our lack of breakaways though. Pasqualon briefly held the KOM jersey but then made no further attempts to add to his tally there. Hopefully the last week will give us a few more stage results.
Thanks for the results Shonak.

Oh completely missed the last update. What a performance by Amir. With that he secures himself another contract for next season. Hope he has some energy left to fight for the Maglia Azzurra in the last stages.
Also happy with Rosa's performance in the last few stages.
Thanks Shonak! |

Fantastic MTT from Dombrowski. He has been a bit weak in the previous few stages but i guess he made that up somewhat.

Caruso remains solid and the gaps to the riders behind are fairly big now, so probably only a breakaway on the last mountain stage could kick him out of the top 10. I'm also happy about Cambianca joining the breaks and even securing a top 10 along the way, good stuff!

Fuglsang still seems to be affected by his crash a little, I hope he can recover for the final stages and gain back a few GC positions. Congrats to the winners!

TVG looking good in last week of Giro. Good stage results and really exciting and close battle for 5th position. I like that! Thanks for the reports. |

not bad in California, without big expectations Andy got a decent top10 result just a couple of minutes behind the podium...Nerz in a league of his own

Giro concludes with last four stages.
Spoiler Great race by Bananito finishing 5th overall, a bit unfortunate to have lost the 4th spot on the last day but all in all some great racing here from him. Only missing a stage win on top. Grijalba with some nice breaks for Liberty, showing our flags.
De Gendt with a monster ride to get KoM jersey and a Top 10 in his last season. Proper legend. Also a great streak of result of Credit Suisse and CCC in the last few stages, fingers crossed this will give them some momentum in the Pro Tour.
Contador with his possibly last GT win, at least on top level. Never really threatened much once he had the leader's jersey although there were in the last stages a few instances where I was waiting for attacks by Barguil and Aru since Sevilla looked weaker after two weeks of hard racing. In particular stage 19 and 20 were surprisingly dull with actually no GC relevant action. Too bad after the racing was great for the first two weeks, the last week fell a bit flat and thus I didn't capture so many videos as I wished.

De Gendt never disappoints in ICL
Nice win for Geromboux for us, Wellens also doing ok, just missing out on the top 15.
Contador should've retired years ago if Bikex hadn't shown mercy, so not sure if I can be happy with this winner, but congrats Sevilla!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Poor race for us. I think this could have more repercussions in the standings. It was a bad decision to send Dombrowski here with this field but there was no way of knowing that while planning.

Not sure I feel happy about De Gendt denying me the Mountains jersey and a Top 10.
Kolahdozhagh also missed out on the U25 jersey last year closely. Hopefully he gets to take home a major classification jersey sometime.
Still happy with the race. It's great that Contador delivered another major result before decreasing, hope Nibali can follow in the Vuelta. Also happy for CCC getting 4th with TJVG, who showed again that the Giro is his race.
Thanks for the great coverage, Shonak! |

Aviva did ok. Fuglsang was actually fighting for the top 10 until a crash cost him 6 minutes, so he ended 17th rather than 11th. And we weren't very active in breakaways until the last couple of mountain stages when Monsalve was 5th and 3rd. Plus Schorn had a few good results.
Thanks for the reports, and congrats to everybody who did better than expected! Great performance by De Gendt in his final season!
