Froome is about as elegant and gracefull as a drunken cow.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Les 13,6km à 6,6% du Col du Béal ont été grimpés en 33'14'' par Froome et Contador soit 447 watts et 24,5km/h #TwittCyclos #LesRP #Dauphine
anybody know if this is accurate? 447W is not screwing around anymore. That's raping the 410W treshold |

Need to work on their wording a bit here... Can I RT this if I was yelling 'F**cking bastard* at the top of my voice?

Ye, might be that Froome was inhuman today. But what about Contador?
I know he just followed, but still.

I don't know much about this stuff, is 6,6 W/kg high for a 13,6km climb at 6,6% avg? |

So, that's some full retard action. I hope Kelderman puts the data to Strava, I'm really curious to see his power output. |

I think that is the same as Froome did on Ax-3-Domaines in last year's Tour.

Crazy stage, somehow I loved it though, last climb was cool. Only Froome is just crazy good. Unbelievable! Contador solid aswell, and Kelderman beasting it! |

Yes but let's wait for someone to do the in depth maths. Half an hour isn't a 45 minute or 1 hour climb but still.
Also we have to bear in mind, whatever the numbers, there are implications for a lot more than 2 riders given they were all close together...
On another note it was interesting to watch with Kelderman, Talansky and Van Den Broeck all better than I thought they'd be. Kelderman really carrying his form from the Giro was particularly impressive. |

So if Froome is doped, Contador must be as well, as he finished in the same time. So is Kelderman, so young and loosing only 4 seconds. Only Nibali isn't, as he coudnt hang on, despite riding for the Vino-team...
I've entered the naive-stadium a few months ago. It makes cycling better to watch, not thinking about "what a great performance, he must be doped!!".
Froome and Contador are the 2 best current climbers, so is it strange that they can outsprint the number 7 of the Giro a few times? Don't think so.
To make it clear: I'm not saying they are clean or doped, I just say that I have changed my way of thinking to enjoy cycling again.

you dont have to give up your sense of realism to enjoy cycling, it can be equally enjoyable to watch with the idea that they're all doped.
recently i heard about greipel dropping andy schleck, and it reminded me of the line "i just got sick of fat sprinters getting over a category 1 climb and winning the stage" from the armstrong lie documentary. i really think that thats how far you have to look down the ranks to find a clean rider. |

Not when it comes to dropping Andy Schleck nowadays. Think you and I have a good chance in doing it (and I'm a fat sprinter )

well, his level dropped from a gc contender to where it is now pretty much overnight when his brother got busted.
i couldnt drop anyone over a climb tho, my bike is parked in a closet, and im more busy with books and videogames in my spare time. i pretty much just follow cycling because my father introduced me to it as a child, and ive been watching ever since. he was an amateur rider in denmark when he was young tho', and i guess thats where my cynicism comes from. i clearly recall the stories he told about how a few riders (no names shall be named) were just a level above everyone else, even when they looked out of shape. |
