The question was when I should hold my Tour of Pennsylvania race. I originally planned it over my birthday (March 15) but many said they would like to see otherwise, when the Tour de France is in session. It was fine by me, so I left it up to you guys.
I got 15 responses to my survey, and it really could have went either way.
I had one other vote, somebody said July 15-27th.
However, in the end, the winner was indeed July 1-13, which received 9 votes. My original dates, March 15-25, only received 6 votes. So I will be changing it!
With that, another question arises, which I am against, but you guys may be for. I am creating a United States Tour which will be Interstate 80, which spans the whole country, However, I do not know how flat or mountain like it is, would you guys be interested in seeing this as a season ending race? It would be called the Tour of the United States.
Here is I80, please note, there will be nearly no cities in this, just all road and woods, like the real thing, with sprints & mountain sprints if there are any
VOTE NOW! Also decide if I should go from west to east, or east to west!

depends how many stages it is.
sounds like a good idea. I can tell you that it would be mostly flat to hilly. may be worth moving of I80 for a couple of stages to add variety
cant wait for season start |

It would be great to start off flat, then hilly, then mountainous in Wyoming and Utah and then a TT and a flat stage.

I live 20 miles from the highest point on I-80 east of the Mississippi. It is pretty elevated so there are mountains all over. After the Tour of Utah I am going to start on it I think. Everything is on hold until August 13th because I have a big school project coming up I have been focusing on right now.

Hmmm... 3,000 miles sounds like it would have to be GT. I don't think I wnat to add another.

It wouldn't have to go the whole distance, sort of take various sections from one side to another in a 7-10 day race. No prologue though. |

It would just stall progression of the story, IMO.
