Wasn`t this Ukrainian Metlushenko guy the rider, where the live ticker on twitter went crazy when he made this "awesome" solo 1-2 years ago?
One of those "nice" Torku riders?

This makes contract extension even less likely for Ferrari. He still hasn't resigned and went to Hainan in hope of some good results to get the contract. Now Lampre management can see that they not only have Modolo, but Bonifazio is also very promising (remember his sprints in Turkey against Cav and Viviani), so there is almost no need for Ferrari. Guess he will go back to one of Italian PCT teams for 2015.
Was this an almost-caught break? Looking at the results it seems that is as I say.
Nah, doubt it. Astana came to this race all out for Kamyshev in the sprints. And Averin is an okay sprinter from time to time in Asian races. Adding late season form and it's not that strange result.
Kamyshev came 9th in stage 1, where Wippert only came 8th. Averin maybe didn't do too well in stage 1 and 2, but already beat sprinters like Bauhaus and Metlushenko earlier in the season.
sort of Zabel'd

Antomarchi: Without contract next year, dominating the last race of the season, in a chinese race almost without doping controls. Hmmm.
While suspicious 1 second over Zeits and 40 seconds over a neo-pro is hardly dominating.
