It was rather close finish: https://pbs.twimg...AEhybA.jpg
As much as I like Tom, Debusschere deserved that win after his recent run of 6 podiums. Fantastic end of season.
Tom will celebrate equally, with this 2nd place giving him enough points to over take Colbrelli and win the UCI Europe Tour classification!
Van Genechten produced a deadly leadout. Debus and Gene duo will be quite a good force for Lotto alongside Greipel and Hendo next year. And Joeri gets his best result of the season, I still have my doubts he'll make it onto the big scene, but there is still hope!

The end of the season is producing silly results: Farrar winning, Colbrelli winning MORE than a race, Debusschere winning, Daniel Martin winning 2 races in a row without falling...
I hope that with the 2015 we'll be back to the real cycling. I could't handle this, really

I'm very happy for both Van Asbroeck and Debusschere. They both deserve it.
And it makes me cry to see this Topsport Vlaanderen team lose 6 of their best. I would have liked to see the same team next year, they'd win a WT race.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

The goal of Topsport Vlaanderen has always been to train promising Flemish riders. They're happier seeing them shine at bigger teams in world tour than holding them back. Next year, new talents will step up. + They still got Wallaeys. =) |

Garmin seems to be in great shape for the end of the season with a number of their riders.
Good win for Haas at the end of his long and intensive season.
Good to see Moser getting his first decent place in a while too. |

Haas weirdly only performs in Australasian races.

I love me som Michael Valggren. Finally a decent talent from Denmark. Also looking forward to see John Ebsen next year, he seems like a guy with the same attitude as Michael Rasmussen, recently an intervierw at feltet.dk. Guy is a pure climbers and god i love those type of riders. |

It's just the end of the season that messes up everything
A proof is Farrar winning.

Not only. He was 6th in the Brabantse Pijl, despite being squeezed to the barrier by Matthews, could've ended up even like 3rd or 4th instead . He also finished 2nd on a flat stage and 12th overall in CI, showing proving some kind of versatility being able to finish all 3 stages in the top15. He was also visible doing some work for Hesjedal during the Giro and wore a KOM jersey for one stage at Vuelta.
He's just not good enough yet to win races at WT level. |
