If someone (like Nibali) want to attack against Valverde. this is a day..Valverde can not stand kind of weather. |

Yep!
The weather looks nice for stage 14, so only stages 19 and 20 are in jeopardy, hopefully it won't snow too much those days. Rolf Sørensen just said he had heard it will be -10 degrees and snow on Agnello... |

They are pretty good at clearing the roads these days so as long as it doesn't go completely crazy weather wise in the couple of days leading upto it then we should be in for a real show

"News coming in from our reporters at the Giro d'Italia. The times for the peloton will be taken at the first passage of the line. There will also be no bonus seconds taken on the line. That means the GC riders won't have to fight it out on that last lap."
Well that changes the final circuit a little bit

Neutralising a stage in dry weather. Embarrasing. |

Well, the finishing circuit is ridiculously dangerous.

Surely that was known before the stage started and they could of just made it 1 circuit

You are basically just implementing a 8 km rule instead of a 3 km rule. All these GC-teams in front with 4 km to go is annoying anyways.
No biggie. |

I for one would like a 5 km rule to let the sprinters do their thing in peace, I particular hate watching Contador and Tinkoff on those finishes, it just makes for a much more nervous race... |

It's not an extended 3k rule. Now the race finishes 8k earlier, they can just start rolling - all because of poor planning.
Lotto going too early today. |

You are right, I missed that one somehow.
Anyways, looking at this finish its the right move, but you could argue it was dumb in the first place since they feel the need to neutralise the last lap without rain. |

I think 3 k's is about right, it is GT racing after all so being able to get through even sprint stages is all apart of it

I don't know, they still have a heap of riders left and with the way this circuit is then controlling it makes sense. Even if another team takes it up then as long as Greipel has one left then he will be fine

yep but is hard to control a sprint 15km. ..even 3km is hard enough. Highroad was 3km. mark sprint train team |
