I have some friends who day in and day out keep comparing Nibali to Armstrongs performance in his hayday.
I can easily see why people believe the Shark is doped to the gills (come on, who can not?), but I see everyone as clean untill proven otherwise.
I need some good arguments for why Nibbles isn't a new Armstrong. Can you give me some numbers? Ascent times or something similar?
PS: Valverde should have sent his dog...
Well except from today he hasn't crushed his opponents. His just been constitet while riders like Peraud could follow him two days but the third it was Pinot etc.
I agree, but I need something more tangible.
His time was the 26th fastest up the last climb, but Armstrong was something like a minute ahead of him.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

I told you it was just 1 bad day. But you already gave up on him
Well I was right. His good days no longer mattered because of that 1 bad day.
They did 6th place is still a decent result. Might get Bardet in TT.
He will no way catch back that time to Bardet.
6th place is decent, but he could be 2nd without that bad day. So yeah, that 1 bad day ruined absolutely everything.
2 minutes in a 54 km time trial i more than likely. |

Yeah, that crossed the line, I am aware of that. Sometimes it isnt the smartest thing make comments in the heat of the moment which I guess my comment was a good example at. I however still feel what SotD was doing was completely unnecessary, as I, as Shonak, didnt interpret it the way he meant |

You people are aware that it's a hilly ITT, right? I think Bardet can hold on there unless he has a really bad day. I wouldn't even be surprised if Nibali wins his 5th stage saturday. |

55km longer Not saying that that cancels out the Tourmalet, but it's gotta have some sort of effect surely?

Sure the 55km extra is a bit but compared to the Tourmalet , can really be measured can it |

So Peraud has 2nd locked up. Pinot is bad at TT's but Valverde is hardly any better in final week TTs and it is a hilly TT, so the advantage is lessened even more between the two.
And what did Rojas do?

Kinda a stupid way to get thrown out. |

Yesterday you said he would lose time, today you did as well, so you clearly didnt have that much faith in him as Kirchen said...
If i was to pick either Bardet or Tejay for 5th, I would pick Tejay who in my mind is the clear cut favourite to take that place. |
