Not so happy with 5th, but still 2nd in individual rankings and 1st in team, so I can't complain!

Race Masters Evolved - Another reaction from Panico after Hungaroring
Antonio Panico: "Two in a row, fastest lap, I told you I learn my mistake. still not clean sweep but closer. The others think they can beat me but a barking dog never bites. Unless they reinvent the wheel they won't catch me soon."

I can't set the differences between the team. Otherwise all cars should be equal or we should have a different ranking every race, and that's not realistic.
And I didn't gave you a ranking of the teams before the negotiatons on purpose. Why? Because then everybody only wants the seats of the best teams. I made the tests special for the negotiatons and I wanted to post the first test after everybodt received a contract offer. But you almost all signed the first contract you got.
I think that it's possible for every driver to get points because every race there are many DNF's. It's only the second race. Still everything can happen this season.

"Well, I'm still one of the quickest drivers. Infact, I'm the only guy anywhere near Panico on pure pace. But something is going badly wrong here. The race pace is awful. Really disappointing race for us again and Paul seemed to have no luck whatsoever. We need to fight harder and put in a lot of work before Austria."

Ricciardo Gambino - Post Race Comment
"I have no idea who supposedly did my interview, no one has came to me at all and I don't know that bastardo who said my 4th place last race was out of pure luck. You know I'm a very good driver right!?!? eh... I hope things will keep going well and well, Day apparently has got some points, not bad for well... an American..."

After Race Thoughts.
"2nd place I can't believe it, I'm so happy for the whole team as we had a great weekend, and we deserve the results of today because we've worked so hard over the winter to create a good package and I was gutted after the last GP to crash, as the car was just flying, and today I think we showed what we can do. All we need to do know is improve our qualifying speed but that comes over time and I think we will be up there threatening for the Championship."
Press Conference.
I’m very happy with this second place. I have to say I was a bit disappointed after the qualification yesterday but this really made my weekend. Panico is just too good at the moment so this is the best available position then. I’m really proud on it and I hope it compensates my blunder from Silverstone, when I crashed while leading the race. I hope to be on the podium again next race. Don’t write of this ‘old’ driver.”
Joe Armstrong, Antlers.

If I remember the track correctly there's a lot of elevation change with there being a massive hill up to a tight turn 2

Big climb from the Start/Finish line up to turn 1. From there it keeps rising to Turn 2 at the top of the track. Follows the ridge line to turn 3 where it drops downhill through 4 and 5. Short climb between 6 and 7 before dropping down and sweeping at high speed through 7 and 8 back to the Start/Finish line.
(love this track in Grid 2, not as good as it's pre-'87 layout though which was just insane)

Race Masters Evolved - Race 3 - Red-Bull Ring - Preview
Number of Laps: 38
Austria, not the most popular country when it comes to racing circuits. The best known circuit is the Red-Bull Ring, and that’s not a very popular circuit among fans. Drivers have different opinions about it, but we have to race there. The atmosphere is good and the location is awesome: in the middle of mother nature. But let’s have a look at the circuit itself.
Well, it’s not strange that it isn’t very popular among drivers and fans. But at least there are some great overtaking opportunities. Castrol Edge, Remus and Schlossgold are the best places to overtake or to counter an attack. For the drivers with big balls we have Rauch, Rindt and Red Bull Mobile. Not impossible but very difficult to overtake there. And not without a risk.
The Favourites
Who else than Antonio Panico is the favourite for this weekend? He’s with two victories, one pole-position and one fastest lap the driver to beat. Unfortunately for him he hasn’t got a completely dominant weekend with pole, victory and fastest lap. It’s sure that he really wants to go for that this weekend.
The Dark Horse
Well, everyone except Antonio Panico could be the dark horse. The Antlers drivers? The Mohn drivers? Or the Dunemonte drivers? Perhaps it could also be Moreno Costa, Panico’s teammate, who could beat him for the first time this season. At least the fans don’t care who’ll win, as long as it’s not Panico.
The Local Heroes
There are no Austrian drivers on the grid, but that doesn’t mean that there are no fans here. Expected is that the German drivers Rosanski and Schumacher will have the crowd behind them. Maybe there are some crazy Dutchmen who are cheering on Raue and Van de Berg. Italy and France are also close to Austria, so maybe those drivers will have some fans in the public as well. And maybe Martin Lloyd has some fans as well. I mean, what’s the difference between Austria and Australia? As you can see there’s not one driver with a home advantage. It’ll be interesting on who the public will be cheering on.
The Local Teams
There are also no Austrian teams on the grid, so who’ll get the support from the public? Perhaps the German team, Mohn. Or maybe the French team, Dunemonte. We don’t know. Sure is that there’s no team with the pressure of performing in their home race, which will be the first time this season. Maybe it’ll have influence on the race. But we’ll see.
Drivers' Opinions and Expectations
Ounheua Khochaleune: “I'm done with this! The team isn't supporting, and in fact I think Lloyd is sabotaging my car to make himself look better. If things won't improve soon I may have to resign after this season, opening a spot in the competition for my friend from the Karting series, Paolo Di Serafino. My hopes for the race in Austria are low, hoping to at least reach the finish...”
Sebastian Schumacher: “Red Bull Ring? I don't like it. It is only commercial for me. Racing is passion, performance and spectacle but it isn’t only for commercial use and should not be sponsored just because of its advertising aspects. The circuit is only build to have high speed but real racing is more than just top speed and we want racing. But at least those lemonade guys don’t sponsor a racing team yet.”
Nick van der Valde: “I love the Red Bull Ring. It's my favourite track in the world. Very fast, with a great scenery. I would love to improve the team performance here, but that may be difficult. I will still fight though.”
Arie DePalma: “Ugh. The A1 Ring or the Red Bull Ring as it's known now. It's really boring with a lot of high speed straights and a lot of elevation which is only important at the Remus turn (2) as it becomes blind. I don't like it. Hopefully despite the uneventful track the race will be eventful to race and for most people more importantly, much more fun to watch.”
Paul Rosanski: “I don't like Austria that much...It's a small, fast circuit with much elevation in it. But I hope that I and my teammate do well here. It’s important that we have a good result soon. “
Timothy Raue: “After a very disappointed result in Hungary I really want to perform here. I crashed early in the race and it was very disappointed I couldn’t give the team a good result at our home Grand Prix. The victory would’ve been nice, but that’s a little bit too difficult for us at the moment. Although I already know what I’d say in Hungarian when I take a victory. But back to the present, because we can’t change the past. I don’t expect a lot from this race. It’s a rather straight circuit, we don’t have the fastest car and we need our inventiveness to fight for victories. But you’re never sure and maybe we can surprise. We have some goals for the upcoming race weekend. First we want to take a Top-10 position, because points are holy for us. Second we want to give a nice show for the fans. I hope that, when I speak you again after the race, we’ve had a great race and hopefully I have some more championship points on my name.”
Joe Armstrong: “I'd like to go one better than the last race because I think winning is always the greatest feeling in sport, but I'd be upset with anything over than a top 3.”

Race Masters Evolved - Race 3 - Red-Bull Ring - Qualification
Paul Rosanski took the pole position by half a second! That’s really impressive. Panico is once again second so he still has sight on the lead at the first corner. But half a second is very impressive on such a short circuit. Antlers has had a good qualification as well with two riders on the second row. The big disappointed of the day was Moreno Costa. With a ninth place he has had a very bad qualification and he has to fight to come at the front tomorrow, which will be very interesting.
The Favourites
With a pole position with half a second Paul Rosanski seems to be the main favourite for tomorrow. But Antonio Panico is the man in shape, so it will be very difficult to beat him. Nevertheless Rosanski is starting on the best position. The start will be very interesting
The Dark Horse
Both Antlers drivers are looking very dangerous. They did very well with a third and fourth place. It’s the first time this season that their qualifying went well. Hopefully they can continue it during the race and maybe beat Panico. Also watch out for Dunemonte. Although De Forest had a bad qualification, 11th, they may be very dangerous. Especially Keselowski has had a very good start of the season so we may expect some things from her as well.
The Local Hero
It looks like the fans are cheering on Paul Rosanski. The German driver was really flying during the qualification. It’d be nice if he could hold Panico behind him tomorrow, but that’ll be very difficult. At least he has the Austrian fans who’re supporting him so hopefully it’ll give him some inspiration to beat Panico.
The Local Teams
With another pole position Mohn Rennsport has done very well in the country next to their home country. Antlers feels good as well in Austria. Hopefully both teams can beat Panico this weekend, what will be very difficult.
Top-3 Press Conference
Paul Rosanski: “I’m very happy with this result. Once again I take pole-position, which is pretty awesome. And this time with half a second! Panico is second and I’m sure he’ll try to attack tomorrow at the first corner, but I’ll try everything to have the lead after the first corner.”
Antonio Panico: “Well, Rosanski seems to be very fast here but the qualification doesn’t say a lot. It’s his second pole but he only has two or three points in the championship so I don’t fear him. I’m the best driver on the grid and after the first corner tomorrow I’ll have the lead and will drive to the victory easily.”
Joe Armstrong: “I’m very happy with this start position. It’s been my best qualification result so far, because the qualification didn’t went well during the season. I’m happy to start on this position and I hope I can do something tomorrow. A podium would be nice, but now I start so far at the front I’d like to fight for the victory.”

Ohh. Finally some speed in this car, seems like saying Ounheua might resign opened the team's eyes as clearly he is one of the most interesting drivers in the field.
