I hope to see this continue. (I'll just root for FM 2014 to crash and burn. )
The easiest solution is to have Rapha staying unhappy with the result and letting you look for a new sponsor for next season. |

Hoping too that this will return, though I understand that there's a lack of motivation here and there. Take your time and return to it once you feel like it.

Well, Earle delivered but seems isn´t enought to keep it up. A change(new project) might be and can be a solution for you, so i hope you will find the best path for a story, it might be with a balkan team...

Guys... what can I say! These comments alone is enough to make my story continue!
I know for certain that it is not the end, and a return sooner rather than later might be on the cards, as I can't even decide on a team to get back into the game with a random career!
I do sill have the final two stages of the Circuit Sarthe that I raced over a month ago before my holiday to Finland and the Baltics, so just to clear up that race, I will report on those tonight. I had hoped for an extended version of the report, but it have been that long since the race, I cannot remember everything that happened. The reports will be in the quick style

Circuit Sarthe-Pays de la Loire
1st - 4th April 2013
Three stages down, and the race looks finely poised as the peleton heads towards the hilly stages to finish.
With Nathan reclaiming the leader's jersey on Stage 3 in the ITT, he will now become the leader of the team for the latter stages. Linus will revert to his right hand man, and the rest of the team will do what they can to control the race.
Stage 4 (Angers-Pré-en-Pail -- 186.1km): The team had a jersey to defend, and why god, we put in a shift trying to just do that! Sadly however, FDJ.fr and Arthur Vichot had other ideas, and after countless attacks, along with Barguil (ARG) and Perez (EUS), the Frenchman took the stage win and took over the lead in the process. Nathan finished just ahead of the peleton, in a group of favourites, 1'07 down on Vichot & co, dropping to 6th on GC.
Stage 5 (Abbaye de l’Epau-Saint Vincent de Lorouër -- 166.6km): Well, it is amazing how things can change in bike racing! After his exploits yesterday, the final stage looked a dead cert for Vichot, but it wasn't to be, as he would finish in the peleton, 5'15" down on the eventual stage winner Coquard (EUC). It was hard fought victory for the Europcar man, as he hung on to a number of attacks over the final circuits of the stage to escape himself and solo to the win. Kelderman (BEL) would finish 2nd on the stage, with Simon (SOJ) in third. Earle would have a fantastic stage, holding to the main favourites until the final climb, finishing tenth! More importantly, it wasn't just Vichot who would have a difficult stage, with both Perez and Roy (FDJ) coming home over a minute behind Nathan.

Well, we always seem to bounce back from criticism or when the pressure is on, the guys really know how to react. Rapha bosses were watching us like a hawk, and we delivered perfectly. They wanted a Top 5 on GC, I give them Nathan in 4th! I wanted to add to that a Stage Win and the KoM Jersey, and we delivered that as well, with Earle claiming Stage 1 and Owain Doull riding a great race to win the KoM jersey.
However, the big story from the race is the meteoric rise and sudden fall of Arthur Vichot in the race. One day, no one can touch him, the next day, he can just turn a pedal. I am not one to be suspicious of this sort of form, but the French press are all over the story and want answers! I'm staying well out of it.

Nathan should still be happy with his performance and grabbing the fourth place on the GC
And nice to see Owain bring home the Mountains jersey |

@sutty: I would have loved to have been more indepth and done a proper report, but after 3 weeks, I can't really remember what properly happened on the stage. Nathan fought til the end, and proud to get the top 5 on GC. Owain brings the KoM jersey back to the valleys

Too bad Earle couldn't hold on to the lead, but losing a podium with 4 seconds is a shame. Rapha will probably find a way to be disappointed by this result anyway. |

Now for Earle, really great result for him and the team.. might be a turning point for Rapha... or not?!!!

@sutty: next race is Klasika Primavera before a short break before some of the French One Day races and Giro del Trentino
@admir: the story will return tomorrow I have my plan, and how the story will lead as the season goes on
@mvh: I hadn't realised how close it was until I posted the report! So close yet so far :\
@baia: you will have your answers soon! All will be explained regarding Vichot. Great result for Earle and the team but will Rapha be happy... The future still looks uncertain for the team

I want answers as well, seems very fishy. Coquard way too strong on that last stage, while Nathan surely did a great job securing the goal.

@sutty: no pressure on the team to perform in Spain. It is going to be used as warm up for Trentino.
@shonak: many suspicious rides in the race aside from Vichot... questions must be answered

Hello
I have to say I really am enjoying your story. It has over the last few days really helped me with my commute to work.
My only complaint is I've pencilled in riders for my story you also have, and I am now having to edit my story hahaha
I think you should get rid of Rapha too
Keep up the great work, if my story evolves into anything as good as this i'll be very happy
