why is everybody cheering against horner here? bescause he dopes? well, let me tell ya something... all of 'em dope.
I am just enjoying the sport. And isn't it funny that an almost 42 year old throws the race back at those boring riding gc contenders. attacking one km from the finish and hoping for the tt. I really liked watching the stage today.
Plus, rlt really deserves some good results after the tough couple of years they had to go through. so just calm down and enjoy the show.. |

I hope everybody knows that Nicholas Roche is clean and is doing very well in this Vuelta. As before stated Pinot,Roche and Valverde only clean guys up there. |

If one rider is clean, everyone is clean. all of them get the same tests. |

I think its more that, with most the other guys you can make some kinda of vague argument for them being clean.
Which you just can't do with Horner.
Nibbles will definately take this Vuelta now though. I thought maybe Purito was in with a shout this time, but after today its all for Nibbles to loose imo as he should take a nice lead on Wednesday. |

Mmm, no. They're clean if they don't take it, they're doped if they take it. Easy.
If the UCI doesn't catch them then they can't be convicted, either because they can trick the test, either because they're actually clean.
But by your logic Virenque or Armstrong were clean. Never officially caught by the UCI. So what ? |

Ok, didn't saw the stage. Goes to see the Last Kilometres video and sees Horner with a 50'' gap to Nibbles. Then he win's. I had ice cream in my mouth so you see what's happening. |

I doubt anyone is clean. I said before the stage that Horner was shocking me and still had something left.
But never expected him to suddenly put it into a gap of almost 1min. Clean or not, Horner can climb and TT...he very well could pull out a win here. I still expect some shake up in the GC. With all the climbing this year, someone who is high in the GC today will bonk/crack before the race is over.
So, who is going to be the one who drops out of podium contention before this race is over? Roche still looks good, Nibbs looks good...but dosent seem to have the legs right now to shut down a strong attack yet.
Pain,Agony,Suffering...Thats why I love cycling!

Regardless of the dope stuff, one has to admit that Horner rides very clever. He times and and executes his attacks really well (unless, of course, he's so strong that it actually doesn't matter when or where he attacks). And his racing adds an element of suprise to the Vuelta, which I like.
Also, I'm of course extremely happy about Nerz performing the way he does. It would be awesome if he could stay in the Top 20.
