Business as usual for us on a flat stage. Spilak stayed safe and beat Vanoverschelde
It would be a really nice surprise though if we somehow could try to participate in one of the three final breakaways.
Big congratulations to Smowz once again. Suddenly this must be a very good race for Simply Red Bull. |

Wow...
It seems like my team needs a rant to perform, and when I subsequently praise them, they do shit next stage.
So no further words on that.
Swift fading hard opens up a big big chance for second place, which would match my pre-season expectations and exceed my pre-race ones.
Fifth place is secured anyway, so at least some "budget points" out of the most risky custom goal all season.

Another win for Bennati. It looks better or him now. Will be a nice final stage.
As will the fight on the Zoncolan!

Spilak read it as well. So Bennatti won? |

Usually I write up the report in a thread in the Reporters forum - so if I accidentally submit it then it's not so bad. I then copy it into a Notepad file, save it for when it's required.
That report was only written today, which is clearly my undoing
Its in the right place now

Mohs is showing all 3 weeks he´s not sprinter suitable for GTs. Huge disappointment for me, I was hoping for at least one stage win from him.

Still on a Red Bull buzz, looks like Swift had a few too many Red Bulls also.
Still Zoncalon awaits... fly my pretties .... fly...

Congrats to cio and Puma-SAP, but Zoncolan is what this is about now. It will be a big, big stage to read, both due to the fight for pink and for an overall podium. Really looking forward to that report |

Great to see that Bennati wasn't injured, that would have been anticlimactic. Now bring on the Zoncolan.

What a fantastic finish. Not what Santander wanted from this race, but great result for Wikipedia and B&O in particular. Fantastic reports as ever, thanks SN |

Very strange that Stubbe didn't go for those points, though the whole KoM AI is a bit rubbish to be honest.
I can only hold my hands up and say Sella tried, arguably he may have been better off trying to leave his attack until later on. His move rather set things up for Madrazo.
Great win for Phinney and Wikipedia, his long development has been interesting to watch. Was unlucky to crash in the Tour a couple of years ago (that Spilak won) but showed even then that his time trialling was supreme.
Dramatic stuff at the end there, Madrazo just missing out. Cracking stage.

13 seconds. Wow. Was my impression or the pack was still fairly massive while entering the Zoncolan? |

Eh? Keinath scraping a top 10 is okay, but still not enough to drag them away from relegation fears.

Sure, but beating better climbers such as Kohl, Duarte and Henao is pretty good. |
