Meh, struggling in Qatar as topic title doesn't sound too promising
And that Boonen & Hagen are more a favourite than me, isn't really great too...
Hope I can do something despite my form

Thanks for the comments guys, they really mean much to me.
btw. sorry for slowing down, exam week last week, and this one is not so much better.
Tour of Qatar Stage 1,2,3
A flat one, but is that a surprise?
This stage turned out to be a usual flat stage, the break got caught early, and the peloton preparated for the sprint, Sky took the lead for EBH, forming a quite good train for him. Despite the good leadout, he wasn't able to grab the win...
... because Boonen takes it! He is really looking ready for the early cobbles, slightly frightening I must say... Hunter takes the 2nd, while Kristoff is the 3rd.
| 1 | Tom Boonen | Omega Pharma - Quick·Step Cycling Team | 3h03'40 | | 2 | Robert Hunter | Garmin - Sharp | s.t. | | 3 | Alexander Kristoff | Katusha Team | s.t. | | 4 | Sébastien Turgot | Team Europcar | s.t. | | 5 | Nico Eeckhout | An Post - Sean Kelly | s.t. | | 6 | Wesley Hoogenboom | SpiderTech - Cervélo | s.t. |
A short TTT, we will try to get some decent results here. Btw. it's flat of course.
After all I think we were decent in this stage, only got beaten by Rabobank, so quite good.
| 1 | Rabobank Cycling Team | 11'49 | 9h22'49 | | 2 | SpiderTech - Cervélo | + 14 | + 14 | | 3 | Orica - GreenEdge | s.t. | + 14 | | 4 | Sky Procycling | + 31 | + 31 | | 5 | Katusha Team | s.t. | + 31 |
Could've just copied the profile of the 1st, they're basically the same.
Well, I could write plenty of things about this stage, but there was just simply nothing to report. First off, there were no breakaway, Sky and Omega Pharma controlled the peloton really easily. Second, as the peloton turned up the pace even more in the last 10 kilometers, the Spiders energy drained impossibly quickly. Our riders could barely keep contact with the 70-men remaining peloton.
However, Tom Boonen was certainly not having the problems as our Spiders, as he sprinted to victory for the 2nd time here! This time beating EBH and Keueleire, it seems like that he is ready for the cobbles. Mike said that he is suspicous, but they're fierce rivals, so he might be over-reacting.
| 1 | Tom Boonen | Omega Pharma - Quick·Step Cycling Team | 3h23'24 | | 2 | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Sky Procycling | s.t. | | 3 | Jens Keukeleire | Orica - GreenEdge | s.t. | | 4 | Bernhard Eisel | Sky Procycling | s.t. | | 5 | Reinardt Janse Van Rensburg | MTN - Qhubeka | s.t. |
Stage 1

Stage 2
Miller - 1
Stage 3
Just no. You don't want me to say anything about that stage.
Stage 4.5.6 Saturday earliest, more likely on Sunday...

Hmm... Wesley could've been better
Did one of us lose time on stage 3 or did we manage to get the same time as the peloton?

Not a good start in this Tour for the Spiders. Wesley has reached a nice Top Ten at least. |

Well, the Top 10 wasn't really what he was aiming for
The lack of form is the reason I guess...
