Awesome Rodriguez. Just nobody could match him.

Incredible race by Lars Petter! It doesn't even matter that he was caught in end, the effort he put in was just spectacular! |

Eurosport says Nibali faded to 8th, but that's not what I saw. They say Dan Martin was 6th.

Dominant win by Rodriguez. Wasn't he caught just behind the crash of Cunego/Nordhaug in the Amstel? Who knows what he could have done there aswell.
Still, i have the feeling we will see a nice and open LBL.
Also, nicely done by Ulissi, finishing 9th.

Wow, Albasini looked so dead with 200 to go already, but that final effort was incredible!
JRod finishing it easily, two classes above everyone else.
Also Ulissi should be mentioned on 9.

The replay doesn't show the exact moment they cross the line, but Martin definately had a lot more speed.

Fantastic race from the whole Katusha Team today. Deserved that Rodriguez win - in a class for himself. |
