Mitrovic is way to good to play in Belgium but his manager Jestrovic used to play for Anderlecht and decided that he should come here so here he is. While there was interest from better teams in bigger competitions.

Mangala will smash puny Markovic into puree like a 7 foot child petting a hamster

And Defour is sorta decent too.
He gets a lot of hate from the fans for being so much worse than Moutinho, like it's his freaking fault that Moutinho's extraordinary. I like Defour, he's professional and quite decent.
Dumb hooligans.

Defour is decent enough, we can't complain. Still last year's eventions of playing him as a right back/winger didn't help at his progression. |

Could be worse. I remember Scolari playing Deco at fullback

I just wanted to express my disgust over the new CR7 contract. In my opinion, 17 million € per year or 46,575 € per day (!!!) is obscene. Especially since it's only to boost his ego after the Bale transfer (because, really, nobody needs that much money. He will never be able to spend it).
/rant
Apart from that, Dortmund has started the season incredibly well with 5 wins out of 5. Especially the new signing Mkhitaryan and, above all, Aubameyang are a pleasure to watch. Mkhitaryan has 4 scorer points, Aubameyang 7! Plus Lewandowski and a fantastic Reus. They completely blew away Hamburg this weekend (who are admittedly in miserable form, but still 6:2 is something ...). Should make for a nice battle, them against Munich.

It will take some time for most football fans to notice but right now:
Mkhitaryan ---> Overhyped Gotze
And with Aubameyang on the team, they have 2nd very reliable scorer with Lewandowski. Quality signings and they look to have gelled already

17 Million is still less than Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Alex Rodriguez, Miguel Cabrera, Fernando Alonso, Peyton Manning or Floyd Mayweather.
Cristiano's price is fair if you compare them to those. Well, you could argue all these earn way too much.

The difference being that all those are paid by clubs/companies/sponsors which all have to have some control over their account, while Real Madrid (and Barcelona, Athletic and Osasuna) have an unfair advantage over the rest of the Spanish clubs, by not being a limited company as the Spanish Law of Sport says they should.

One could indeed And to clarify, I don't doubt that he's worth the money for Real, still I think it's too much.
@ Alakagom: To be fair, Götze is only slowly coming back from a tough injury and didn't really have the opportunity to prove himself. But yeah, at the moment, I bet no one in Dortmund misses him much

And next year Kagawa will come back! #FreeKagawa!
Don't worry Götze will come back as well, when he has been in Kagawas position for long enough. Another campaign will be launched #FreeGötze
What's worrying me is how they are gonna find another player up front instead of Lewandowski that's a hard one. |

Well, talking about that , Lazar Markovic is going to be beast , also, but i prefer Mitrovic. That guy is absolutely awesome , and choosing Anderlecht as his first European club is probably the best decision. Just as Ljajic (Roma), Markovic (Benfica). They've choosen "smaller" teams, to get leadership and some goals/assists , to grow up (talking about football tactics etc) and then , they'll be ready for ManU, Real , Barca ...
Serbia does have really awesome U21 squad (European Champions). We just have to kick out Mihajlovic (coach) and whole Administration of FSS (Serbian Football organisation/union) and to get back Radomir Antic (with him we won against Germany at WC 2006 and some other great results) , or to get our current U21 coach and that will mean TOP10 on Fifa ranking list, and some awesome results in future.

The chief of La Liga in Spain has said 8-10 matches per season are fixed in the highest 2 levels. He calls for a lifetime ban for all of those who are involved

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Dynamo lose to Sporting KC! Well I guess the third time's the charm for KC though.
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Can someone suggest a good site for football news and match summaries?
Something that would be well categorized, so that I wouldn't need to skim a lot of titles to find articles I want to read.
