It's a criterium, can't expect good racing always.

I wasn't just referring to this race. I believe almost every single Hilly one-day race this year has been a (reduced) bunch sprint. Not really a trend I like.

So Gerrans has won most World Tour races out of anyone this season. Sure, Down Under and those 2 races aren't the biggest races on the calendar, but still a very, very good season. This guy really plays to his strengths, although it might seem boring sometimes. |

and as a bonus, little known classic L-B-L
joking aside, he's the first rider to win both canadian classic in the same year and the second to win both

Dude, I knooooow. Else he would be at 3 World Tour-wins which is the same amount as Contador.
But thanks for the reminder. Just the top-10 tells me how much of a boring race that was |

That was really strong performance by Gerrans and OGE squad. Ominous sign before WC.
This is something that had been missing for Sagan. Entire team helping him till finale, mostly entire Cannondale would be absent. Hopefully things change at Tinkoff for him. |

I think it's because there isn't a real stand out hilly classics rider around at the moment, just a bunch of evenly matched guys, same goes for the teams.
OGE played that perfectly, they have a leader who can win a sprint from a reduced group and the turned themselves inside out to make sure that happened, once again a good real team effort. I think Gerrans will struggle when it comes to the WC unless the Australian team come in with just him as leader and try and do what OGE did today, looks like a few riders are coming into form nicely so we should get a cracking race

Coppa Bernocchi 2014!
Italian domination, great Viviani:
It seems that Sagan isn't in top shape yet.
