Has been incredibly fun to play along and hit on some surprising choices throughout - not looking forward to getting wrecked on the captain points sadly
1) What team will have the most stage wins? Visma
2) What rider will be part of the first breakaway of the Giro? Sevilla - Tarozzi
3) What rider will lead the U25 classification during the first rest day (after stage 3)? Silva
4) What team will win the team’s classification? Visma
5) Stage with biggest time gap between the first and second place finishers? Stage 10 - 1'53"
6) What rider will win back-to-back stages? No rider
7) How many stages will be won by an Italian rider? 4
8) Will the final Giro podium include a rider who has never before podiumed a GT? Yes
9) Will someone get Zabel’d for any stage victory? Yes or no. No
10) What team will not win any stage? Unibet, Alpecin, Bardiani, Picnic, Lotto, Groupama, NSN, Polti, Jayco, Movistar, Pinarello, Decathlon, Tudor, Red Bull
11) Will somebody younger than 23 (max. 22 y/o and 364d) win a stage? Yes
12) Will somebody older than 34 (including 34) win a stage? Yes or no. Yes
13) Will a former maglia rosa winner wear the pink, KoM or points jersey at any time in the race? No
14) Will a rider, that doesn't have bib #1 on his team, win two or more stages? Yes
15) What nationality will have the most different riders win a stage? Italy
And for once, I was actually the best predictor! 12 out of 15 possible correct answers, scoring myself 300 points. Everybody else between 6 and 10 right answers, as Croatia14 managed to do well here as well.

In the GC, Laurens and Abhishek swap places (4-5), with me jumping from ninth to seventh.
First, the points classification. Only 5 riders got one or more mentions by the predictors, with Magnier, Milan and Vingegaard picked by almost everyone. Picking Bais was a smart move by kandesbunzler, awarding him the win here. Laurens in second thanks to his Tarozzi pick.

More points are being given in the KoM, with Ciccone and Vingegaard as most picked riders. Rubio (66), Gall (43) and Gee-West (50) are the best scoring riders for the predictors, with Abhishek taking the KoM-win thanks to his four scoring picks.

The biggest scores come from the U25-classification. Seancoll has predicted six out of ten names correctly, leading to a score of 172. Kandesbunzler, knockout and baseballlover all score above 150p as well. The four of them, together with Dane Bramage, all picked U25 winner Eulalio.

And in our GC, that means... barely anything! The only thing that changes since the question round is that Abhishek and Laurens switched places. Although positions 1-2 seem quite secure, anything below is definitely still possible with the GC and captain points coming in one of the enxt days.
That points classification scoring is quite hilarious. So few hits across the board. Probably due to sprinter teams not being able to control the peloton on all those in between stages.
We're getting close, as today we're looking at the final GC points! Only captains left after this.
Most of the people got the top 4 or top-5 almost entirely correct, with the ones missing out also possibly doing this because of tactical reasons, definitely in the case of Vingegaard.
It seems Ulrich is still in the running for his mid-table mediocrity, as he wins this one! No Vingegaard giving him 50 pts like for most others, but having the numbers 2-5 of the GC + Storer and the 150 points-scoring Piganzoli give him 337 points in total.
The other two big scorers are Eulalio (125 for Dane Bramage and knockout) and Caruso (100p for bbl), so it's not a surprise to see those three managers ranking 2nd to fourth today. Ollfardh closes the list, his hopes of finding a new Del Toro in somebody like Arrieta didn't work out this time.

In our ranking, this time we see several managers going up and down. The top-3 stays the same though, with knockout increasing his lead again. Laurens and Abhishek also hold on to their fourth and fifth place, with the Belgian crawling a bit closer to the podium.
I manage to jump to sixth, with Ulrich also taking a little leap towards seventh. Imladrik on his turn loses two spots, with Ollfardh ropping to ninth. Dane Bramage stays in tenth place ahead of baseballlover312, who in the end beat Croatia with his classification + question predictions. For the latter three, I won't do the effort of calculating captain points, as it's too much of a hassle.
Captain points below! Next to the rider's name is where he scored a top-10, then per person how many points he scored by having that top-10. Pentultimate number points per manager per rider, then as the final number is the extra points he scored for you.
For me, it didn't help that I thought I had Vingegaard as a captain all this time. For Ulrich, it didn't help he didn't select Vingegaard in some stages and neither in the GC.

So here it is, the final ranking!
As was quite certain already for a while, knockout takes the win with an absolute monster score! Kandesbunzler really did well and would have won last year with this score as well, but knockout really stood out this season. Congratulations!
One final switch in this GC is that Ulrich and me swap places, giving Ulrich the exact mid-table mediocrity he loves.
Thank you all for playing, apologies for being on vacation and only finishing this now
I was already surprised last year to win it but this much of a margin was insane. Might have taken a bit of the surprise out of the fight up top as it looked secured somewhat early already but almost every gamble seemed to work out. Even my classification picks were pretty decent which wasnt the case in past editions.
Thanks for hosting, i enjoyed it a ton and gave me a reason to follow the race a lot more closely than i would have done otherwise! Hope we will see the game return for another edition
Also shoutout to Dane. Nemo didnt want to make the maths but Eulalio was a crazy captain pick! Feels like a podium might have been possible there if stage picks didnt stop halfway through.
