League table has been updated. Ian was correct, Clamel has taken the lead by one point. Congrats to him. Ian and Timo are the closest challengers about 30 points behind with Freitas in 5th about 20 points behind them.
Congrats to Ian on his win. He now moves on to 6 individual race wins taking him to the top of those particular standings.
Rather suprisingly there are no bonus points at all to hand out. I guess the Giro attracts more players making bonus points harder to come by.
The biggest news however is that ringo 182 has moved into the top 10 overall. Watch out Clamel and ember, I'm building momentum.
I see the Dauphine game is now open with the deadline on the 9th. Good luck all.

Yeah, I had a quick look this morning and there are so many options who could score points for so many different reasons I don't know where to begin. So many big riders who haven't really raced yet so don't know what form they are in. So many lower valued riders who were in good form a month or so ago but no idea what form they are in now. Dumoulin who we have no idea what condition he is in.
I think the Dauphine is going to be won by luck more than judgement, which means I have a chance.

For luck we can also rely on the OVO Energy Women's Tour - now open for entries and, apparently, part of a new 4 race championship that also includes the Giro, Norway Tour and another race I cannot remember at the moment.
Dauphiné team is set - let's pray. |

Just a reminder that entries are still open for the OVO Energy Women's Tour - though it is not most members' expertise, I think it can be a fun challenge for all - and close tomorrow morning. |

It also counts towards the PCM Daily Championship so get your entries in.

I think there are going to be 4 women's competitions this year, which I'm really not looking forward to! Don't get me wrong, I always seem to enjoy women's racing when there's coverage, more often than not it seems more dynamic then men's road racing, but there just isn't as good information out there to make decisions. I always feel like I'm fumbling in the dark when selecting a team, not really looking forward to doing that x4. Good luck all though

La Course last year was one of the best races that year, so I don't mind the women's races being included.
A seperate side ranking for woman's races would be interesting as well, but not sure if you're up for that Ringo?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Don't sell the women short IanRussell. I knew next to nothing when it first got on the schedule 2017. Even questioned if we should have it on. Made some quick research and proved luck is a HUGE part of this game.
I won the inaugural race.
It's getting tight on the top of the leaderboard. Dauphine started out just fine for me, but with luck and unluck so much can easily happen at any time.

As I say I have always enjoyed watching women's cycling, it's more dynamic than men's racing most of the time.
I don't enjoy scraping around for info on riders though. That said this can only improve with time and greater exposure, Velogames exposure included!
At this moment in time I reckon my OVO team will outscore my Dauphine team so can't currently complain!

The Dauphine game appears to be down.
Hopefully it's just a temporary issue and not an indication of another example of ASO being arseholes.

I was doing good in this race, but Vos crashed out apparently.

Yup, big cut to the face that required stitches apparently Wish her a speedy recovery. In terms of Velogames most (but not all) teams have her.

Would like Moolman to step up now. |
