Hmm... I agree with you because of the incredibly huge overhyping of scoring an away goal when in the league nothing would happen, but at the same time it makes it more exciting.

It makes things more stale because teams get afraid at some point like Dortmund. Also it increases the chances of a... longer play time (I don't know the english for it right now) since a simple remis is needed and not the same score in both legs. Maybe there would have been two penalty shoot-outs today without away goal rule.

And someone, please shut up the god damn commentators always kissing ass to Ronaldo and Real... Ahhhhh!
Have you been buried in the ground between 2010-2013/2014? Are you really telling me that commentators are kissing Real Madrid's ass? Where have you been? Commentators have been kissing Barcelona AND Messi's ass so hard in the past years.
Maybe Real was lucky in this game, but you can't only reflect on the last game only. Every 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2-final consists of two games, and the best team over these two games pass to the next round. Maybe Real did not deserve to pass to the semis judging by this match, but Dortmund were lucky to not lose with the likes of Schalkes loss (6-1) at Bernabeu..

Miguel98 is portuguese and he should be watching on portuguese television, so it's very natural that commentators kiss Ronaldo's ass. Unfortunately it's normal to see portuguese speak badly about Portugal (check the WC qualifiers thread to confirm this) as well as portuguese speaking too good about portuguese.
Also glad for Mourinho!

Jeez, I'm really not a BVB fan, but that's just nonsense. Real had 3 real good chances in the first match and two of them resulted from big mistakes in the BVB defense. In the second half of the first match, hardly anything came from Real, while BVB should have scored at least one, if not even 2 goals. The 3:0 victory made Real appear stronger than they actually are and if you are talking about luck, than you can only ever refer to Real in that context.

Incredible match tonight, Dortmund would have deserved it so much. It's a pity that the ref didn't send off Xabi Alonso at the beginning of the second half for that tactical foul, would have been another match then. But Dortmund had the chances anyway, so no point in blaming the ref...
Also I was once again reassured of my hatred for Real. So many unlikable players. Time wasting from minute one. God damn ... (I know, you wouldn't expect anything else from a Barca fan, but even my friend I watched with, who really dislikes Barca, was furious against Real.)
If Bayern goes through tomorrow, I'll have three teams in the semis that I thorougly dislike. Either way, I hope that the winner of Athletico vs Barca wins the CL (alternatively United, but I doubt they beat Bayern), and I really hope it's Barca ...

Gotta admire Chelsea's fighting spirit, even if they've bought all their talent bar a couple, play some pricks like John Terry and have some idiotic fans. Always enjoy watching them overcoming stronger teams with their work rate in the CL. Tonight was no different, great battling performance which ended in a deserved win.
Will be supporting them and Atletico if they get through tomorrow against Barca. Felt sorry for Dortmund today as well, would have liked them to go through also. |

It wasn't a celebration- he was telling Demba Ba to hold in front of the defence and Torres to go into midfield. He's nuts.

We have to clash again. What is so unlikable on Real players that barca players dont have? I think both these teams are horrible, full of divers and dickheads and both teams are spoken as reincarnated Jesus squad. Only difference for me is that Real play better football to watch, without 1200 passes per minute...
And as i hate BVB, good that they are out.

Oh, of course he's good for football - proof of that was on show yesterday. But he's still nuts.

I watched both games simultaneously, what a night it was! Despite the love I feel for Real Madrid, I was sad to see BvB go...they never ever gave up!! On the other hand, I see Ronaldo closer to another UCL trophy, I really want him to win it
I also felt happy for Chelsea, Mourinho is a hell of a manager |

Awful barça... 3 posts for atletico. Lack of rythm in barça passing. Biggest threat: alves crosses... no comment.
this is just going the wrong way...
