@Alak Not to mention the WC.
Right, 25th isn't that amazing, but don't forget that Wilco started when the weather was bad, and the top-guys started when the weather was better(Weather in NL is thát unpredictable, yes)
He would have got 15-20th without the rain, I really believe so.
Just await until his next long TT.
Giro 55km TT qualifies for that, but it is a bit uphill on the end, isn't it?
Yes, although as he's a climber, that should suit him, right ?
I am not saying he's bad, he's just bit overrated after he got that 4th place at Dauhpine. He can be great on his day, but he hasn't been that special very often.

Mmm... Among the Dutch stage-racers, I still rate him the best TTist...
But yeah, Giro TT should suit him, but the last climb gives explosive guys like Betancur a better chance I think(Dunno how long the final climb is honestly)
But yeah, I see Wilco doing okay there.
His schedule after Giro isn't made public yet though, I hope he rides a long, flat Tt after that

Roughly a kilometer. Far from enough to make a rider like Betancur a contender.

Kelderman is a good time trialist but for more rolling courses, nopt pan flat 18km
he's good at short intense prologues though (=explosiveness). But he can't turn the massive gear for long flat or medium flat ones, He did well in the dauphine because that was a more rolliong course (done on souiplesse)
23th is still ok for him considering the small differences between 10th and 25th..
If he gets older and more powerfull (he is only 22 after all!) he'll get better at pan flat power courses too |

Curious to see what the other two portuguese, Tiago Machado and Nélson Oliveira can do today. Hope a top 20 from one of them
They both got top 20, 16th and 18th with Tiago going to 17th overall! Great day for portuguese in Geneva. |

VDB's time trial wasn't too shabby either, looking at the results. |

Well, 5th isn't bad for a 22 year old(and 1 month )
Quintana didn't Top 5 any WT race when he was 22, for example
Sagan did, but he's on an other level.

Quintana is a level above Kelderman, no matter if he didn't do any top 5 wt race..
Any fool can see it. Quintana destroyed Kelderman completely in the Avenir a few years back. He is simple of another league |

I know that he's better, everyone can see that...
I'm just optimistic

Kreuzigers outcome from Romandie is not a good result (30th), but a heavy cold. He has been given three weeks antibiotics (dont know that this exists, antibiotics for so long, i know week long).
He says he had some problems since Liege and this Saturday worsen it a lot, Saxo were thinking about skipping final TT, but they decided otherwise in the end.
