Glad to see Pye is helping out the team in Paris, hopefully he can give the team a cobblestone for the trophy cabinet later in the year!

Well, I hope too. Pye is looking ready for the upcoming classics, his preparations are going fine, I think the help is also decent, so he'll try to give his best for the win.
Spoiler I'm not really a cobble-specialist in PCM, but I'll try my best. |

I know my rider (Alex DeLarge) is riding Giro, what are his other big objectives of the season? |

Well, after the Giro he won't have too many big peaks, but the Settimana Ciclista a Lombarda can be his race! And the fall classics are also in his schedule. (Plouay, Lombardia) |

And what about Solodovnikov? What are his main races?
Sorry for non-commenting. I (don't know why) usually only read threads without commenting. |

If everything works out, he'll have a key role in helping.

Vitaly is our main man in the Ardennes classics, and a co-leader in Catalunya (although it's just a form-raising race for him). After a break he'll come back in Pologne, followed by Utah and San Sebastián. He'll also ride Plouay and the Vattenfall Cyclassys as well as the Canadian double. He'll end his season in Lombardia.
About the non-commenting part, I'm always happy for the comments, it gives me a real big support, and in the reports the known followers (who comments often) are always going to get more coverage in the reports, as I'll undelibaterly follow the riders I know more such as Sutty or Ian's (they're the ones commenting the most) riders. However this can change pretty quickly, and I'm always trying to give every important infos to you. If you have questions about certain riders, feel free to ask!

Your comments on the last stage and the riders so good to hear! It's very important for me to know that you're following, so THANKS!
Tirreno - Adriatico Stage 4
Today's stage is quite hilly, and with the first opportunity for the punchers, expect a high pace from the peleton. It'll be really interesting to see the form of the favorites.
Right off the start BMC controlled the pace, and in the first kms it was really hard to get anything going, and it took quite a long time for the break to form. Despite the hard effort by BMC a real big name, M. Iglinskiy joined a break, but probably because of his presence the break was kept close to the peleton.
As the pack was taking on the hardest non-categorized climb of the day, Katushas Purito Rodriguez attacked with Gilbert and Urán on his wheel. They were clearly feeling good attacking from long way out! Unfortunately our riders didn't feel to good and there were nobody who would be able to response.
The group of 3 caught the break, but Rodriguez and Gilbert continued to set a high pace, and shaked off Uran.
At the 5km line, Rodriguez started to set an even higher pace, and Gilbert simply couldn't follow. After them a 10 men chasing group came led by Ballan working for Hushovd. We managed to get into this group with our swede Mellberg, but he was clearly struggling and was having a hard time staying with them.
Turning into the last kms Purito was still in the lead, but started to lose a bit of ground to the others, as he started to feel the consequenses of his solo ride. Gilbert was having the same problems, but was looking better, and almost fought back to J-Rod. In the chasers group the pace was higher and higher, and Mellberg lost a bit of ground, and couldn't follow.
Joaquim Rodriguez wins stage 4! What a strong show-off for the spaniard! Gilbert was also really strong and followed 2nd at 20'. BMC managed to get Hushovd on the podium too, so the american team can be really glad. The God of Thunder could even manage to get a gap on the others, so he looks to be in shape before the classics! Our swede finishes at 11th with a gap of 1'08.

Thor keeps his jersey, but with tomorrow's mountain stage coming, it'll be hard for him to keep it. Same goes for Gilbert, Ballan, Cance and Thomas.

Van der Valde - 1 great finish on a terrain, which doesn't really suits him
NEXT UP IS THE COL D'EZE MTT, THE FINAL STAGE OF P-N on tomorrow!

You don't need to wait too much for Bob, as the E3Prijs is his first race, an it'll come fairly soon.

Yeah. I was really surprised to see them in that good of a form, their preparation must be really good.

That's the ugly truth, but this step is really hard for me. I hope in the Paris - Nice Sutton can make the step and also get onto the podium. |

@miguel98 - It was surprising to me too, how good he was.
@sutty - Yeah, he is in top form, so let's hope he can hang on.
A short, but hard stage closes this years edition of the Paris - Nice. The stage is an ITT, but it's only 9kms long and the riders have to climb the Col D'Eze. The GC looks secure for Costa, but the race for the other places is really open.
As the lower ranked riders were gone, some pre-race favourites like Gesink, Nibali, Vandenbroeck, Scarponi and Froome were on time. They all lost a lot of time in splits, so they could ride without pressure.
From these big names Froome and Scarponi were the fastest, tieing the others time. They were in the lead before the top 10 came.
GC number 7, Gömböcz started off slowly, and was clearly struggling throughout the day. At the end he had to settle with a bad mid 60-ish finish, so let's hope he doesn't lose too many places.
Chris Horner was in great form through the race, and he proved it with a provisional time of 4th. With this result, he will surely be in the top 5 GC.
After Horner, the Spanish ITT Champion, Lusi Leon Sanchez kicked off, and did tremendously, beating Scarponi and Froome with 9 seconds! Great effort by him!
Gary Sutton was ranked 3rd before the stage, and he'll try to jump throuh Chavanel today! He sets a prov. 4th time, being 10s off LLS's time. Unlucky thing is that, LLS beats him in the GC, by only second! Dramatic ending to the race, no?
Sylvian Chavanel knows that, he has to give it all to keep his place, but his mountain capabilities are a bit short for the exercise. He comes in 10th, and can only coem in 4th in the GC.
After the frenchman, the man of the hour, Rui Costa started and completed the course in 19'59, 19s off to LLS. LLS takes the stage, but Rui Costa takes his biggest win ever, by winning the 2012 Paris - Nice! Great achievement, congratulations to him!
