She had one good time a few months ago but in general she came out of nothing being more than 2s faster than a few months ago...So highly suspicious or a talent of the century. |

Werner Franke said that very young athletes, if trained from a young age, can have a very good weight ratio.

In swimming you usually peak around 20, sometimes even before. Manaudou was 17 in Athens (2004), I think Ian Thorpe was also 17 in Sydney (2000), so 15 is young, but that'd be like winning the Tour de France at 22 or something.
By the way, the big-chins-big-cheekbones-big- foreheads gang has won one more gold medal. |

She can swim..and estonians are doomed. We like to count a medals and look what close nabers do.
We sent this time..smalest and weakest gang ever.
Every medal hopes we have..we destroy it with hugh media pressure

Wow, that Lithuanian swimmer.
And exciting to see Phelps pour it on in the final 50m to get into the 200m breaststroke final.

Just Saying but.. Spain has still no medals.. compared to North Korea (3 gold, 1 bronze) or Georgia (1 Gold) It's a bit.. weird |

Well, shame that you don't have such great weightlifters with support from Kim Yong Il from the kingdome come But don't worry, Germany only got their first medal just know, so...
By the way, did I hear that correctly that there is a Belgian hockey player named Tom Boonen?

Haha, ah right I just assumed that from your statement, didn't look at your location. Well, you might be at least a little bit happier about the medal count then.

Really nice hockey game so far (Belgium 1-1 Germany, still 1st half).. Love to see Belgium dominating against the Olympic 2008 Champion
I don't follow hockey that much but I really like to watch it on the Olympics, it's a great sport!

Well yeah, it IS weird, but it's only day 3, still 13 days to go I mean, Jamaica also doesn't have any medals yet, but they might have Gold + Silver on the 100 metres as well as on the 200 metres, which are probably the most prestigious medals in the Olympics

jseadog1 your table's wrong, the leaderboard is determined by gold, silver then bronze, not by total
1 | China | 9 | 5 | 3 | 17 | 2 | United States | 5 | 7 | 5 | 17 | 3 | France | 3 | 1 | 3 | 7 | 4 | North Korea | 3 | 0 | 1 | 4 | 5 | Italy | 2 | 4 | 2 | 8 | 6 | South Korea | 2 | 2 | 2 | 6 | 7 | Russian Federation | 2 | 0 | 3 | 5 | 8 | Kazakhstan | 2 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 9 | Japan | 1 | 4 | 6 | 11 | 10 | Australia | 1 | 2 | 1 | 4 | 11 | Romania | 1 | 2 | 0 | 3 | 12 | Hungary | 1 | 1 | 1 | 3 | 12 | Brazil | 1 | 1 | 1 | 3 | 14 | Netherlands | 1 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 15 | Ukraine | 1 | 0 | 2 | 3 | 16 | Lithuania | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 16 | Georgia | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 16 | South Africa | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 19 | Colombia | 0 | 2 | 0 | 2 | 20 | Great Britain & N.
