Thanks for your support Smile Let´s continue with Paris - Nice!

i1145.photobucket.com/albums/o520/Dougmachine92/Team%20Sky%202012/parisnicelogo.jpg

For sure, we did not send our strongest squad to France for this Pro Tour Race. Anyway, it´s still a nice team choice to get some good results. Our sprint hope is Ben Swift with Sutton and Eisel on his side. For the overall, we took Bradley Wiggins. He still has to improve his shape with some race days. Surely, he will be able to do some nice stages for our team. Mike Rogers and Knees will try to support him in the mountains.

Our main opponents for the overall might be Valverde, Anton, Van den Broeck, Leipheimer, Kreuziger, Gesink, Menchov and guys like Albasini, Roche or even Fabian Cancellara.
The best sprinters over there are Hushovd, Swift and Mark Renshaw

You have a very good chance of winning it, as usual you're biggest contender at PN will be Roman, but Sky can do it. Good luck Wink

First stage in France is quite flat, so the sprinters might be the happy guys at the end of today´s finish. Ben Swift is our man for the bunch sprints here. Let´s hope for a nice start.

i1145.photobucket.com/albums/o520/Dougmachine92/Team%20Sky%202012/PCM0003-8.jpg

Today´s break included a lot of nice sprinters. The group was also quite big, which wasn´t an advantage for our team in the pack. Tosatto and Vermeltfoort looked like the biggest danger, when it comes to a sprint in this breakaway.

i1145.photobucket.com/albums/o520/Dougmachine92/Team%20Sky%202012/PCM0005-13.jpg

Team Sky made the pace back in the peloton. Even Bradley Wiggins started his work, bringing our sprinters to the front. The break was still in front by one minute. This is going to be very close!

i1145.photobucket.com/albums/o520/Dougmachine92/Team%20Sky%202012/PCM0006-10.jpg

The sprint begins at the front, the pack is still too far away with 30 seconds. That means today´s stage winner is coming out of this 11-men group.

i1145.photobucket.com/albums/o520/Dougmachine92/Team%20Sky%202012/PCM0007-8.jpg

It´s a Rabobank guy, taking the stage win. Coen Vermeltfoort beats Haller and Gaudin on the final metres. Ben Swift finished in the pack with 23 seconds after that group. Pity, that no other team helped us with the pace today.

A steady start for the team Frown

What a shame that nobody wanted to help the team doing the pace - Hopefully next stage will be better for Sky Smile

You´re right! It´s really annoying to do all the work everytime. Hope to see some other teams at the front in the upcoming stages.

Hey guys, I would really like to continue with this story but I´ve got a big problem right now. Something is wrong with my PCM. I can´t open the game. There´s an error message but I really don´t know what it is actually. Will try to fix it Sad

Have you tried posting the error message in the Technical Forum, there's bound to be someone who could help you Frown

No didn´t do that. I will try to take a screen of it. Hope there is someone, who can help me there.

Hope you can solve your problem. Would be a pity to see this end earlier than expected. Frown

A very flat stage is waiting for us. This is a nice chance for the sprinters to get another win these days, before we continue with some harder stages.

Unfortunately no screen was taken by this stage, although I though I took some but anyway the second part of Paris-Nice wasn´t really exciting. A smaller group got the race lead very early before the pack controlled the race. The sprint teams were in front for many kilometres and when the final metres were reached, Team Sky lost the connection to the leading sprint trains. Dumoulin was the lucky one in the end. He was faster than all the favourites like Hushovd, Boasson Hagen, Cavendish and many more.

The first part of today´s stage might be very easy for the riders but with 25 kilometres to go, there´s a first test for the overall favourites with a nice climb. For sure there won´t be any decision but it´s still a nice chance to get some information about the opponents.

i1145.photobucket.com/albums/o520/Dougmachine92/Team%20Sky%202012/PCM0007-9.jpg

A quite big group was in front today with some interesting riders in it. Keizer, Marzoli and Haller were all in the overall Top 10. Haller was even second but the pack let them go. Our team squad had a very calm day.

i1145.photobucket.com/albums/o520/Dougmachine92/Team%20Sky%202012/PCM0010-4.jpg

Finally it was up to 4 riders to get that stage win. The pack was not interested in that stage. Marzoli was the new overall leader by this stage while Tjallingii took the stage in front of Muravyev and Ghyselinck.

Bernhard Eisel came in as 9th with Thor Hushovd winning the sprint of the pack. Everything is still possible for Bradley Wiggins. We´re looking forward to the upcoming days with a lot of action.
