Meantime a strong looking breakaway in Quebec.
Polanc (LAM), Arashiro (EUC), Moser (CAN) and Van Winden (BEL) are the names. Meanwhile, Orica (for Gerrans), BMC and Cannondale working in the pack. Who are BMC and especially Cannondale, having Moser in the break, working for?
Gap around 5 min with 96km to go.

My guess would be BMC's working for Van Avermaet. |

BMC with Van Avermaet and Hermans and Cannondale with Formolo and Marcato are good bets I think. |

Dumoulin must be getting tired of his 2nd places.

Nice race that was. Such a shame for Dumoulin as he's one of the most likeable riders in the peloton and probably the only Dutch rider, besides Gesink, I like.
Smart riding by Gerrans. Perfectly timed sprint there.

Also, Navardauskas gets another nice podium finish!

FFS! Why is Dumoulin so unlucky? He's turning into a great rider though! |

Ugh what a typical Gerrans win. Can't blame him for it. But meh... they are never nice. |

Great win by Gerro. OGE too strong on this terrain. Montreal is usually abit tougher isn't it? |

The main hill is tougher and longer, but there's still a considerable chance of a sprint because of a more flatter run in.
Quebec has had solo winners too (With Gilbert notably). It all depends on how it's raced obviously |

Farrar had a mechanical in the sprint there.

History might repeat itself. Van Baarle is in the ToB break having 7 minutes advantage with 65k to go.
He's 14th in GC just 1:25 down.

Told you, van Baarle leads Kwiatek by 19 seconds now. Could be very close, he's a good TTer.
And yeah, what a commentating fail, I was seriously in shock over that crash for a second, looked like head first into the barriers and the commentators are just like "oh yeah Tao Hart crashes let's look at what else is happening"...plus forgetting about van Baarle in the GC for a good two minutes or so...

Tour of Britain seriously looks like one heck of a race so far, I must admit. I haven't been watching anything of it, but damn. The leads seems to go from one rider to another with absolutely no control of things whatsoever. |

Kwiatkowski has one heck of a job ahead of him. Van Baarle is not a pushover in short itt's. |
