This is turning out to be a fantastic Giro for Willy. Two more stages the first Mountain finish and the TT. Shame Stjin is finding himself a certain Cau as his roadblock. |

Forgot to come here and say that it's normal that sometimes our motivation vanishes, but we'll be waiting for more updates in the near future, take your time! |

Thanks a lot everyone!
I'm sad to say the motivation still hasn't come back though. I kind of feel like playing PCM, but not really a usual save-game. Sorry lads. Hope I'll get back to it, soon. I might just start racing again, maybe the motivation will return by playing. I'll see what I can do this evening or tomorrow. |

Hope your back soon Ian. But either way. This is a great story and has given me a lot of motivation for my story writing. Just reading your reports inspires me. Thanks for that Ian

Yes, the lack of motivation is finally here, now you won't get more pages than my story, yes!
Spoiler Take your time, think the motivation will come back in a few days weeks or even months. Don't worry.

I'm sure it will return in a few days. Especially now that the real Giro is being raced |

Don't force it. Motivationis more likely to return if you try not to force it. Take as long as you need, as long as we know it will come back. You're a great story writer.

Again, thanks a lot, you guys! It's great to have so many people behind me! Anyway, you have the real giro to keep you entertained for now, looks like it'll be a great battle between Nibali, Wiggins and Hesjedal! |

Giro d‘Italia - Stage 9
Stijn: It's really time for that first stage win here, come on! Today's stage is dangerous for me as there will be breaks.
Willy: Like Stijn said, a dangerous stage. I'll be keeping my eyes on attackers close to me.
Willy Wouters
The team did excellent work today. When the Italian Champion made his moves, the Italian motorcycles "mistakenly" drove too close to the attackers, dragging them along in the slipstream.
Stetina and Farrar worked like bulls to keep the pack together.
And it worked! I was happy to be at the front. I decided to give something back to Stijn today after all his sacrifices he's already had to make for me.
Machado ended up losing time due to the fast finale and a failed attempt at gaining time, how unexpectedly!
Stijn Van Gent
By a small miracle, I survived the biggest hills of the days quite easily. I had great legs. The team set up a lead-out for me, for which I am very grateful!
Willy's been working on his explosiveness and today was a chance to test this. He led me out and I must say he went faster than I expected.
But I wasn't the only sprinter that survived the hills. Among my competitors of the day, there was Cau, Degenkolb... Time to set the record straight once and for all! With 25 years I'm way too young to start going downhill, I'm just getting started.
Degenkolb was fast, but I knew he wouldn't last. The sprint was from too far out, my specialty, actually!
And I finally, my first and hopefully not last Giro stage win! After such a tough stage, it felt so good and the relieve was great.

There's great relieve for the whole team. We're floating for the moment and we're definitely the strongest team in the race. Two heavy mountainous stages await us now, and we'll be ready for them!
Until then,
Stijn & Willy |

May I ask why Farrar isn't sprinting on the flat stages? (Not the last one)
Edit: Nevermind, I forgot he doesn't have 84 anymore like my PCM 11 saves.

baseballover312 - It's a matter of form. They have about the same SP/ACC stats, but Farrar's form is only in the 80s (peaking more for the Tour), so Stijn has more chance to win sprints here. And he certainly doesn't have 84 SP
wogsrus - There is
