Hoping the Vuelta is better than Giro and definitely better than the Tour. Dombrowski should be a Top 10 contender for sure. Matthews should be competitive in the sorints as well. Looking forward to Cascade and Avenir as well. Not sure we'll do much in the other WT races.
Thanks for the previews

Cav was 2nd in last year's Quebec Sprint Challenge but his name is missing in the previous results.
We are looking forward to Quebec as well as Course de la Paix but expect nothing from the Vuelta and even less from Virginia.
Cascade might be the most suited U23 race of the season for our captain Fritsch, but a lot depends on the ITT.

Sorry for the slight delay, but I messed preview up and had to kinda redo few things here and there. I hope my excel files hasn't broke down so I hasn't missed any important name. Last two races of september will come later today, cheers!

Not a lot to look forward to in October if things go according to the favourites' list. Hoping we can do better than that and end the season on a high.
Thanks for the preview dominox

Lombardia the big focus for us as a goal race. Great field, the heavyweights should battle it out.
Paris Tours a chance for Kittel to atone for that Quebec no show.

Not really any big races for us aside from perhaps Buca and Lombardia. Hoping for som egood scoring there but I think we should be pretty much settled in finishing #2 in WT given the good september month

Hopefully, we can get something at Vuelta a Colombia to end the season on a high note. Because we certainly will have a busy off-season to not repeat finishing dead last next year.

Thanks for the hard work, dominox!
Sagan was 3rd in Bucaramanga a few times so he might have deserved a spot on the list of favourites. The competition is immense, of course, but Sagan has not let us down even once this season.
Paris-Tours is our final focus race, we hope for a good result by either Sagan or Cav or possibly even both.
Majka was 2nd in Il Lombardia last year, that was a nice surprise. Let's see how well he does this year.

Four Plarre races in October, all of which with WT team presence, and three of them featuring the direct duel with Zilioli in our fight for the last safe promotion spot!
That'll be an exciting stretch of races, although I can't set any explicit goals for them without knowing the latest CT rankings.
It'll be hard to do very well against this opposition, but as long as we get the better of Equinor, I'd be happy with results between 10-20 as well.
Additionally, Herklotz hopefully has one more ace up his sleeve this season to finish on a high note in Lombardia.
I would very much like to not put any pressure on him there as he's delivered sufficiently already this year, but the downhill-into-sprint nature of this route is certainly to his liking, not unlike Lac d'Annecy earlier.
I'm not going to expect any points there as this is just another test run to gauge his level against the very best, but a strong result could definitely tip the scales.
We also race the Vuelta a Colombia, albeit with our lesser riders as 11 days on C.2 level didn't seem appealing for Auer or even Breuer.
Julian Runge gets a chance to lead us there without any pressure (even more so as Equinor isn't there), and our cobbles squad fills up the roster to hopefully go into breakaways as often as possible.
And that'll be our season! Thank you dominox for compiling all these previews, they're very much appreciated!

Last month of the season and with Bucaramanga and Lombardia it is quite an important one for us. Villella obviously the man for both races and so I'm hoping for some top 5s from him. Paris-Tours can only positively surprise us.

Grupo Argos defended their title by a comfortable margin, congratulations! Liberty Seguros also had an excellent season, handily beating all predictions. Team BP also did better than expected, a podium finish is an excellent result. Note that some of the gaps are very small. Just over 500 points separate 5th from 9th and less than 500 points separate 10th from 14th.
Allianz underperformed slightly, all predictions saw the team finish on the podium. Suntory had a great run, especially captain Bardet performed really well. Sevilla proved convincingly that an all-climber squad is a viable option (even) in the WT, something none of us predicted. Two of the three predictions had Italo on the podium, so 7th is a little disappointing.
KBC was the best newcomer, finishing about as expected, the same can be said of Baku Synergy and, at least on average, Filiers as well. All of us predicted Alitalia and especially Ceramica Panaria to perform better, D2B and I even saw Ceramica on the podium.
CCC had a small budget and ended up spending a lot of it on Komisarek - and it paid off. None of the predictions were bullish about Lufthansa, but we expected a bit more. Credit Suisse avoided relegation by a hair, though D2B and Ulrich foresaw this. None of us believed Peugeot to be in great danger and yet they are faced with relegation. Together with Santos and Vegeta, the predictions all foretold they'd have to return to the CT.

Brugse Zot won the promotion race convincingly, over 1000 prestige points ahead of Trans Cycling. The latter team was able to beat all predictions, all four saw them finish 7th or 8th, an impressive performance. In a photo finish Equinor squeezed past Bosch to take the third promotion spot. Ulrich and I predicted this, though I admit I did not trust my formula when it comes to Equinor.
Polestar improved in 2020 to finish 5th, Pedal Africa did well to end up 6th, clearly beating the predictions. Magnum was a podium candidate according to D2B and df_trek, so we expected a little more. VisitUkraine beat 3 out of 4 predictions, as did Education First. Guinness sits in between as 9th, 2 of our predictions were spot on.
While Ulrich's and my formula did well with Equinor, we had far less luck with the other sprinter team, Cymru Wales. Tierra de Fuego did about as expected, Strava beat predictions slightly, Millenium couldn't quite live up to my formula, the others were correct. Our predictions worked out on average when it comes to Latvijas and VIP Mobile. ICBC was unable to perform better than predicted this year, the overall quality off the CT division has risen so far that they couldn't surprise again with good depth scoring.
The major disappointment of 2020 was Shell, predicted to finish between 3rd and 7th but only ending up 18th, the ds will have to answer uncomfortable questions. Nordea disappointed ever so slightly, while late entry Cadejo takes the lantern rouge, as expected.

Thanks for the analysis. Since my formula take no account of team structure Cymru was always a weak spot.
Interested in how it undershot Liberty Seguros so badly. Will have to look at that.

Thanks for the World Champs previews Shonak, looking forward to spotting talents I missed in scouting. If you are really busy IRL happy to wait for the results, plenty to keep managers busy in "another universe" at the moment.

Prestige Points Overall 2014-2020
Once again I'll be presenting a few season statistics based on Bikex's PRRankingHistory file. We've just completed the 7th ICL season and here is the table of the all-time top prestige points scorers, all 22 riders who've scored at least 10,000 points so far:
Name Nationality Total 20 Total 19 1 Nairo Quintana COL 19635 16776 2 Vincenzo Nibali ITA 19276 17250 3 Alberto Contador ESP 19226 16916 4 Peter Sagan SVK 18620 15791 5 Carlos Betancur COL 16015 13640 6 Michał Kwiatkowski POL 15717 13052 7 Chris Froome (ret.) GBR 15399 15399 8 Marcel Kittel GER 14985 13079 9 John Degenkolb GER 14598 12669 10 Tejay Van Garderen USA 13393 12088 11 Warren Barguil FRA 12819 10514 12 Romain Bardet FRA 12217 8703 13 Arnaud Demare FRA 11903 10331 14 Joaquím Rodríguez (ret.) ESP 11208 11208 15 Rafal Majka POL 11091 9098 16 Fabio Aru ITA 10925 9362 17 Bauke Mollema NED 10829 9523 18 Danny Van Poppel NED 10710 8616 19 Philippe Gilbert (ret.) We have a change at the top! Nibali has lost the lead after "only" scoring 2026 points in 2020. Quintana moved past both Nibali and Contador and is the new leader. Sagan remains 4th, Betancur and Kwiato have overtaken Froome, the latter also moved past Kittel, who dropped to 8th, the rest of the top 10 is unchanged. Bardet climbed 8 places from 20th to 12th: He scored 3514 points, the 4th highest season score in ICL history. Nibali's incredible 4061 points back in 2016 will probably remain unmatched.
In the spolier below are all 317 riders who have scored at least 1000 prestige points so far:
