What a crappy bunch of races, a minor sweet spot in Shirota's breakaway stage win but pretty bleh outside of that.

last two stages of dunkerque and fleche wallone posted https://www.youtu...X5ISpeW4tM
Spoiler Bit annoyed with how Bananito behaved in the finale, going back a few meters and throwing the win away. Should have just ridden through.

Good win for Vanmarcke in Roubaix, letting GVK attack first a few times (with Kristoff following him like a shadow all cobbled season!), if anyone beats us, I'm glad it's him.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Two solid Top 10s from Villella to start the Ardennes but looking at the videos it almost seems like bad positioning cost him even better places in both races. Nice depth points from Aregger in Fleche and Koch in Amstel as well, so it's hard to complain.
Thanks for the results Shonak!

Hmmm...Not our days. Depth results are very random at Fleche. Races feel like they are slightly less selective than last season for some reason.

Whatever happens around him, Yates has decided that 5th is his rightful place in races
Thanks for the continued reports Shonak!

Shame my small complaint didn't help me like it did Abhishek. Terrible Fleche for us, let's hope LBL will be better with Majka leading the team.

If complaining would work as a superpower you would change things in the past. Not sure I would use this power to get better results for my icl team lol

Think competition is very dense in the hilly races, riders with HL78 are more or less completely form-dependent and even star riders can miss vital moves by competitors, like Bananito in AGR.

I have a feeling that Ripley would still risk it
I am on my way home to Paris after 2.5 weeks in Austria. I should arrive in early evening and we would wrap up April then

Spoiler bananito providing a lesson in inactivity, not too thrilled about that race after two solid showings in amstel and fleche. but what a solo by Wawa! |

A podium in LFW is very good, but only 16th in LBL? Get your act together Martin!

Majka 10th, about as expected. But again next to nothing from the rest, we really need a better rider for hilly racing. Impressive victory ride!

Barguil the strongest, but what if Italo actually wanted to chase with 1 of their 2 riders instead of letting GVK do all the work? Still, a second place is a great result for him.

Thanks Shonak! Some decent results from my team, but annoyingly many 4th places. I guess in LBL U23 Pichler crashed and the team dropped back to help him.
Also interesting to see that Cymru Wales won both Cobbled CT stage races, but I wish they were more selective.
Rankings also posted now. World Cup is now at least a little bit closer but most of the races suiting GVK are gone already, he'll need some hilly results as well. I'm happy that Italo's depth is once again helping them challenge Carbonsports for the team title. |

20th in LBL is not good enough unfortunately. As expected, the rankings reflect that too, but it was always very likely that we were gonna relegate. Maybe our guys can work some wonders in the GTs.
Thanks for the great pace Shonak!

Bad month continues in Dunkerque but a really nice outing for the PureBlack lads in the mini LBL with young Astier with his best ever result in 5th there and Padron and Spencer both getting into the top 10.
