Volta a Valencia: Stage 4
A breakaway of 4 went up the road in the hills of Spain as Cyril Gaultier has taken every jersey except for the leader's.
The stage finale was initially controlled by Sky, but Nairo Quintana kicked off and no one could pass him. Simply an imperious performance. Kudus fought valiantly to stay on his wheel for a while but dropped off half-way through, but he was able to snatch 2nd. A porto rider got 3rd an Poels finished 4th.
Quintana in the leader's jersey! |

Antunes was was the Porto rider I was talking about in 3rd, who battled hard as well. While also BMC complete an excellent performance being able to get 2 of the top 3 riders in the overall with Senni and Hermans. |

Yup. He was very strong. Deserved win for him.
Also 3rd overall is a very good result for Senni. He was pretty good in Mas de la Costa (11th) and hopefully this is the start of a year of good showings for him.
Hermans also got another good result. He can hopefully keep his form and step to the next level and do a top-10 in a week long WT stage race.
And that is another very good performance by Antunes!
Roglic was very good as well!
Kittel was too dominant in Dubai, just like Quick Step in San Juan. Also nice wins for Costa and Mollema there.
And Porte finally managed to win TDU |

Dubai Tour - Stage 4 cancelled due to heavy wind...no Hatta Dam then.
Hence tomorrows flat stage will be the final stage.
I hate that oil money. Sadly ..If even money beast football going after oil money. Then poor cycling circle has no chance to avoid it.
..and Quickstep just keep on winning. Well main races will be closer ..and closer. Can they repeat 2015 Omloop again (where Stannard beat 3 Quickstep guys) |

In a field with lots of Van Niekerks, Aidan was 11th in the U23 ITT National Championships race where couple of Dimension Data for Qhubeka (Dev Team) riders participated.

Farrar causes his first crash of the season. Boonen the biggest name amongst the victims, but he can start tomorrow.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Can't he just retire? He is basically good for nothing. Farrar that is, obviously. Would have made me sick if Boonen was to miss Roubaix. |

Can you remember those times when Farrar was a good sprinter? It feels so long...

for this one it's not Farrar but Boonen to blame in my eyes - haven't had his eyes on the road it seems as he didn't react to the action
the Etixx rider ahead of him with a great save though |
