First off all, our National football team is a disgrace, but what's wrong with counter attacking football? And on Hushovd. He was a sprinter and sprinters are not meant to attack. Have you ever seen Cavendish, Cippolini og Kittel attack?. In fact, Hushovd has attacked several times in his career (If you don't remember any of then you clearly haven't watched enough cycling). Am i naive? Have i stated that i think riders from the past wasn't doped? I personally am quite sure all of our riders in the 70s,80s and 90s where doped, such as Lauritzen, Pedersen and Knudsen. Even though many of us are naive, we still have a good moral when it comes to doping, unlike nations such as Spain and Kazakstahn. Here in Norway you'll won't find forgiveness like Vinokurov and Contador, who on the contrary are national heroes.

You should read up on Contadors case. The case against him is very weak and many experts have admitted that, and stated that they actually do agree that he could have gotten it from some meat (which is also why Contador is a vegan today) but they felt like they had to punish him.
And the drug he was tested positive for, wasn't actually doping but something used to distract tests from actual doping.
The only difference between Norway and Denmark is that our riders can step out and admit their mistake, in a world back then, where it was almost a must do to dope. In Norway no one steps out because you cut them down with not an ounce of understanding or forgivness.
So basicly the old guns you adore to day and the old guns we adore today are all the same, the only difference is that yours haven't admitted their likely doping use.

Clenbuterol isn't a masking agent. It helps reduce fat and increase muscle.

I have been following Mathieu van der Poel for a while now, and he was very good at todays race as well. He was active in multiple breakaways, but obviously got caught again. He finished 10th in the race, which is a pretty good result. However it seems like he wants to finish his Cyclocross contract before considering to focus on road race, a shame if you ask me, because he looks so talented.

I wouldn't put Hushovd in the category: Sprinter. He is more of a classic rider and have been that for quite a few years. Why did he win the green jersey? Because he was the best sprinter? And yes I wouldnt mind seeing Hushovd take more chances in the classics, instead of relying on his sprint.
