It's freaking head-to-head. Should be changed to most points scored next year like on most fantasy leagues.
I had to cheer for Heinz Beanz to win against bbl lol. Not like it matters that much since there are five 7-5 teams who are battling for 4 play-off spots so the standings aren't decided yet. dreamteam(who?) also has a chance to get in if two 7-5 lose and he wins the tiebreaker.
Gonna be a fun week.

I prefer head to head tbh. Its unfair to unlucky teams but gives the added element of luck that makes Fantasy Football fun! If we were to change any rules, maybe make the league a Keeper league? i would quite like the man-management over seasons and drafting for future not current success. Isnt the man game sort of similar? Might be hard to do if theres too much turnover in members every year though |

Luck contributes in every game over the fantasy season. For example From the World on the Rim averaged like 70 points a game and never scored over 100 when we faced but scored 113 that day. I faced Yorkshire T and TMNB on by far their worst weeks. Also bbl wins the tiebreaker against me because he beat me on my worst week of the season.
Points scored is the only thing that actually reflects the value of teams and should be a part of the game at least on the final tiebreaker. Just my opinion.

This for next year. Points scored shows the strength of the team far better than any metric regarding opponents.
But I won't complain too much, as I am the hottest team in the league

Torrey Smith came up huge for me, and Romo came up crappy for him which is good for me. I may get that upset and slip into the playoffs a 3rd straight year

For once I am hoping Miami gives up 200 rushing yards again, to Forsett though with a few TD's
It should be a very good game, I could very well be a 9 seed now and out of the hunt though so I gotta be grateful.

Riding a two-game winning streak, No. 1-seed Pickles Pickled Surprise (10-3, 1,234.62) meets No. 8-seed The Real Americans (8-5, 1,223.96) in a playoff matchup this week. It's their second meeting of the season, after The Real Americans beat Pickles Pickled Surprise, 102.02 to 65.50, in Week 11. There should be an exciting finish, with The Real Americans favored to win by just 3.58 points.
Both teams ranked in the upper half of the league in points per game in the regular season. Pickles Pickled Surprise ranked second, scoring 94.97 points per game, while The Real Americans ranked third with 94.15. Neither The Real Americans nor Pickles Pickled Surprise have players on the field in the Thursday night game. All of the other matchups in the league get underway on Thursday.
