This is your (and a common) misconception. Sagan already has huge stats. So if you give him potential 6, his potential will be too low for the game to fall between the limits set in the youngridercarac XML files. Thus Sagan will progress beyond his potential, usually 3 points. You don't want that to happen.
Giving him potential 7 means, if the XML used are correct, that he won't progress much more with the stats he already has.
Ewan has very low starting stats, so with potential 6 he will usually develop a lot. But still it's random each time, because for example in Kentaurus XML a potential 6 rider could be a world beater. But could also be just too weak at 1 point, and become a sub-top rider.
Give Ewan potential 7 and he could become as good as Sagan. But it's the question wether OlegTinkov believes Ewan can become as good or not. Clearly not because he gives potential 6, but that's personal opinion. And with talents very hard to predict |

No, but you won't have all 2014 stages then. However, you can download Cyanide's (emmea's or whoever) pack, which is smaller and features alot of stages (not as much as Oleg's pack), as well.

Which is why Ivan Basso currently has 84 mountain in my career with the CyMITA Realname DB 
I'm liking the DB, thanks for the work Oleg. Some of the continental team choices still seem a bit weird to me, but as I'm going to play mostly with WT teams anyway, that doesn't bug me too much

I think we can trust Oleg in being impartial to riders, or else he would ramp up Dutch riders and downgrade anyone he didn't like.
Oleg, we registered on PCMdaily in the same year. Did you always had this username? When did you started making these databases, what was the drive behind it? |

best database in this time, but I think Davide Formolo from Cannondale has low stats. He showed his Climbing skills in Switzerland, and National Championships Italy - where he finished second.
And I have a question about equipments: Here in your screenshot "Equipment
Exclusive A.S.O.DB 2014 Equipment for all teams" are visible frames and wheels when you are selecting it before race. I have only grey background In 3D race its OK.

Great DB Oleg, have played a bit with it and the stats and what not are very accurate and good. Thank you for all your hard work!
BTW, of course i changed the skills and potential of the major Norwegian riders. Mehe

First of all, thanks for the work Oleg!
I have a question concerning the young riders. Are the talents adapted to the other riders? So that they can get the same stats like the veterans, not too low not too high. I am thinking of something like "Kent's PCM14 Young Rider XMLs".
