Actually it just shows which driver is getting the better cars on the team.

Botha is very annoyed with himself and his team. He started 6 positions ahead of Van de Berg but still had to drive for him and as a result had a poor race and finished behind him.
Hoping for a lot of improvement in the next race.

Some replies are actually very funny to read.
What do you guys think about the report? In first instance I didn't have an idea how to write the 'report' (actually it's more a review) but when you guys like it this way I'll continue writing with this lay-out. If you got any tips or something you can say it here or through PM.
@SSJ2Luigi: Thanks!
You could still send your drivers' expectations and opinions about the Hungaroring (read the spoiler at the bottom of the race report).

It's great so far! But is it possible to add some pictures? f.e.: some overtakes or the winner crossing the line(starting grid, too maybe)

I guess he's just simulating (not-playing and therefore isn't available to take SS's), but real-life photos of overtaking and stuff would be cool too!

i know, that he simulates, but in some games, you simulate while watching live (f.e. f1 2003)

@Paul and admir: I'm indeed simulating without viewing. I can try to find pictures but it'll look very strange to see pictures from different race classes in the same race. I know I could simulate the race while watching but that will take a lot of time. Also the teams will switch from cars (f.e. because their car is improving) so it'll look very strange. I also have some problems with the 3D version (f.e. some cars are white and some cars have each others lay out).

haven't had time to do some laps on the hungaroring in any game so a good comment about the track I can't make yet. (I like to do that to refresh me mind a bid)

Paul Rosanski actually has no time to answer the questions of journalists, because he is working very hard with his team at the moment.

Race Masters Evolved - Another reaction from Panico after Silvertone
Antonio Panico: “What do you expect me to say? I told you I'd win and I did, when you combine the strongest car and the quickest driver then what else can you expect? I'm surprised it was that easy really, Qualifying suggested would dominate but I didn't expect it to be so easy. I could have had a perfect weekend if it wasn't for Moreno. He was opportunistic there, It was late in the race and the positions were already decided when he put on that lap, I'd already paid my effort and was just keeping the gap, still you can't have your wife drunk and a full bottle can you?”

Race Masters Evolved - Race 2 - Hungaroring - Preview
Number of Laps: 40
Welcome everyone here for the second race of the Race Masters Evolved here at the Hungaroring. The first weekend was completely dominated by Mazzilionia Racing. Of course we all hope to see them beaten this weekend, because otherwise it could be a very boring season, and nobody wants that. Well, let’s take a look at the circuit!
The Hungaroring is often called as a Mickey Mouse-circuit. It’s actually not a very big circuit and overtaking is very difficult here. There aren’t many chances. The best place to overtake is corner one. With a bit of luck you could try it in corners three, eight and fourteen as well. And for the guys with big balls there’s turn six, but that’s almost impossible. The qualification will be very important here. Only a good tactic can bring you to the front, or a bad tactic could completely ruin your race. So qualifying and tactic are very important on this circuit. It’ll be interesting who’ll be the best at it.
The Favourites
Of course the main favourites are Antonio Panico and Moreno Costa. They were unbeatable at Silverstone and there are no signs yet why they shouldn’t be the fastest here as well. It’ll also depend a bit on how good Antlers and Mohn are. They both didn’t have a very good start at Silverstone and they’re very motivated to perform much better than at the first race.
The Dark Horse
Just like Silverstone watch out for both Dunemonte cars. They can be there when you don’t expect it. They had a very good start of the season with a third and seventh place in both qualifying and race. So watch out for them!
The Local Hero
Jakab Zoltan is the driver from this country. He had a bad start at Silverstone, but he’s very motivated to take revenge here. His qualifying wasn’t very bad, he started thirteenth at Silverstone, but unfortunately he didn’t finish the race. With some luck he should be able to get some points here, at least when he has a another good qualification and of course when he finish the race.
The Local Team
Timothy Raue and Kurt Jensson have to perform for Angelo Racing, who’s driving a home race. After a double points finish in Silverstone they hope to perform here as well. They have the advantage that they took a good feeling with them from Silverstone to here, so maybe that’ll help them. A good performance in this race is a real must for the team.
The Drivers Opinions and Expectations
Ounheua Khochaleune: “Hungaroring - Sounds like a Mexican meal to me... At Silverstone I felt the crowd loves me, I'm slow, I'm young and I'm from an exotic country, if that continues throughout the season I'm confident my popularity will only grow. I don't have any goals this weekend, except finishing, preferably ahead of Mr. Lloyd.”
Antonio Panico: “Hungary will be different, it is a narrow winding track so the car probably will not be as suited to it as it was at Silverstone, however, should be a good race and I'm confident that we will still be the team to beat, the gap we had in first race should not be too fast to be reviewed.”
Sebastian Schumacher: “The season opener wasn't as good for us as we hoped. I got stucked in traffic after my one stop and lost way too much time while Armstong's 0-stop-strategy nearly paid off until he made a driving mistake. Now, it is time to improve. Too bad, it is on the Hungaroring. It is just a boring track and I don't have the best experiences from my DTM years. I raced there twice and one time my engine broke and one time I got Maldonado'd.”
Martin Lloyd: “I’m hoping for a Top-10 position.”
Gilberto Coutinho: “When flying over the circuit with the helicopter, the course reminded me of my wife at home. This fact will for sure be an extra motivational boost, especially after I crashed out at Silverstone.”
Joe Armstrong: “The goal for the next race is to finish in the points to get the season properly underway.”

Race Masters Evolved - Race 2 - Hungaroring - Qualification
Good news for any other drivers than Mazzilionia ones: they can be beaten! Paul Rosanski has shown it with taking the pole position. The gap to Panico, who got second, was small, less than a tenth of a second, but he took it. Mohn actually did very well with Clark on a third position, in front of Costa. So Mazzilionia isn’t unbeatable. At least, not in qualifying.
The Favourites
Although Mohn did very well in qualifying they aren’t the favourites. Last race they started on good positions as well but the race actually was a disaster for them. The Mazzilionia drivers are still the favourites for the victory. Mohn isn’t very far away.
The Dark Horse
Both Dunemonte and Antlers didn’t really show themselves during qualifying, but they are the teams to look out for. They start immediately behind the Mohn and Mazzilionia cars, two by two. They really can do something in the race tomorrow.
The Local Hero
Jakab Zoltan took a sixteenth place in the qualification, but he isn’t very happy with it. That’s not strange looking to his thirteenth position in Silverstone. Nevertheless the sixteenth position isn’t a bad position at all and he has a look on a points finish, which would be very nice for him in his home race.
The Local Team
With a 13th and 15th position Angelo Racing is doing better than its 15th and 16th position at Silverstone. If they could continue the line during the race tomorrow it’s looking like another double points finish for them at their home race, and that’s something they really want.
Top-3 Press Conference
Paul Rosanski: “Wow, this is pretty awesome. I’m on pole here and I’m very happy with that. It’s also nice to take my first championship point as well. I hope I can take a podium tomorrow but of course I’m going for the victory.”
Antonio Panico: “We still are unbeatable, yes. I made a few mistakes during my flying lap. That’s why that German driver took my pole. A second position is also a good position to start from. Although it’s on the dirty side of the circuit I can try to take the lead at the first corner, because I’m starting on the inside. I think I can go for another victory and there’s a big chance Moreno will be on the podium as well, and I wouldn’t be surprised when he’ll be second.”
Justin Clark: “This has been a very good qualification for us, but we may not celebrate too early. At Silverstone our qualification went good as well and the race was a complete disaster. I’m really hoping for a good race tomorrow, for myself and for my teammate. It’d be nice if we can beat the Mazzilionia drivers, and we have the chance to do it.”

Reaction – James Harden
A pleasing surprise it is to beat Seamus, I'm really happy about the 9th place too. I hope that I'll be able to get some points in the race! |

The pace is definitely there over one lap but we need to improve on our poor race from last time out. A good first lap and we should be able to control the race. We know Mazzilionia are seriously quick but it's extremely difficult to overtake here so the start is vital and a great result could be on.
