If you're not tuned in to SNF you should be. Case Keenum is lighting it up.
Coincidentally, Kubiak was taken to the hospital. Feel free to draw your own conclusions.

Prayers for Kubiak, I was watching, I feel bad for them because Wade Phillips is taking control now

Texans had one play, and when that was taken away, and Colts stepped on the speeder, it was over. Interesting, though |

Texans just needed a better kicker and I think they would have pulled it out tonight.

Wade Phillips made sure last night that although Kubiak left the game after he collapsed, the Texans will still have the worst head coach in the league.
I know I'm exaggerating but punting the ball with under 2:00 left has to be one worst decision a head coach made this year.
The reason why I said I'm exaggerating is that Schiano is still employed lol. Buccs(0-7) had the ball around midfield, 4th&3 in a tie game against Seahawks(7-1) with around 30 seconds left and they chosed to punt the ball. WTF man you have to play to win not to play not to lose it. They actually got the ball first in OT but went 3 and out and never saw the ball again.
I mean even Ron Rivera figured it out that going for it on 4th down when needed to raises his team chances of winning games. After he went for it on 4th&1 against the Giants only because he thought he got the first down on the previous play (it's actually true ) he basically became another person lol. |

@jseadog1: Time to bring in a kicker (Shayne Graham? )

I disagree. In that situation, if you convert (on 4th & 11!) and score, you will tie (if Bullock hits the FG) or take the lead with a TD, but most likely you give the Colts another chance.
If you don't convert, you are in basically the same position (worse) as punting. You have one chance to stop the Colts, any first down would mean Game Over. Assuming you stop them, you have :50 left, and Colts punt from inside the 20 if you punt. If you go for it on 4th down, Colts probably pin you inside your own 20 yd line.
If you had to pick one play that lost the game (besides Mr. BULLock, who might as well sit next to Mr.Reed over there), I'd say the personal foul (Sharpton?) on Luck on 3rd & 10. You could also make a strong case for the Lechler 19 yard punt.
Overall you still have to blame it on conservative play calling on Rick Dennison's part in the 2nd half, you're basically asking for the Colts to catch up. I thought that if the Texans were going to lose, it would be because of the Linebacking corps, but they actually played a great game, consistently pressuring Luck.

@547984: Writed a different post but hit F5 by mistake and it was all gone lol
Basically what I said was that they had a first down with ~3:20 left, called 2 runs (2!!!), let the clock ran down(LOL!!), then it was the incompletion, and then they punted but went under the 2 minute warning. They screwed up 2 times in 4 plays once by letting the clock ran and calling another run and then, knowing the 2 min warning will be negated, they still punted. I wouldn't have that big of a problem if the Texans could've stopped the clock 3 times after the punt (there was still the possibility the Colts would never give the Texans the ball back).
If they didn't get it on 4th down, the loss in field position would've been 15-20 yards. They started from the 33 and still had to run pretty hot with that 2 big completions only to settle for a 55 yarder. That brings another problem, what was the longest FG Wade Phillips thought his kicker could make with the game on the line? How many yards did he expect his offense to gain in 40 seconds? Wouldn't it have been a better decision to just try to make 11 yards in one play?
There are a lot of 'what if's' that can't be answered but bottom line is that Texans had a first down with 3:20 and ran the clock to under 2 mins and also gave the ball away.
EDIT: Also if you want to check when the game has changed you can check this chart: https://live.advan...2013110310

I could understand their logic while trying to run, they tried not to give Colts another possession, but I agree, running is to conservative in that situation.
Might as well not have connected on the last plays, forces you to throw a hail mary.

Newish to American football having been hooked by the SuperBowl in Feburary. Tend to watch the game on a Sunday Night as it's shown on terrestrial TV in the UK so I record it (As it starts at 1 AM ) Also taken a liking to College Football as it's show on ESPN - through BT Sport - and is on at a more reasonable time. Looking forward to Texas A&M tonight and then its the Cowboys on on Sunday night. Hoping the Redskins will be on a somepoint before the end of the year as I like the running from RGIII |

How about the Dolphins drama with bullying... you think they choke against 0-8 Tampa Bay or come through strong for a win?

It does get annoying the 3rd or 4th time that it's shown. ESPN need a greater variety of adverts but then thats true of most TV channels |

Miami Dolphins finding some way to get back in the game after getting demolished and it was 15-0 they stood no chance whatsoever.
15-7 after Rishard Matthews has 6 catches including a TD.... They can get back in this I hope!

Bucs are gonna hold on to this one, Miami started too late, good game though but they will have to go for it on 4th down and the pressure will get to Tannehill.
