I'm rooting for Cunego! Should order my team to help him, but I guess they are all (3) gone before he needs them...

Schleck stage win Good to finally get a proper reward for all his attacking, and sure up his grip on the podium. Pleasantly surprised to see the attackers kept the gap in the downhill, usually that sort of gap seems to be brought back in PCM12.
Quite fortunate for Cunego to gain 37 seconds, really gives him a chance now for pulling off a comeback

I don't want to jinx it, but Brajkovic is going in the right direction!

Congratulations to SN! I did certainly not expect a win from Schleck after a descent
Good try from Nordhaug as well, that was nice to see. Though, a shame Augustyn decided it was clever tactic to lose six minutes on the final six kilometers of the final climb.
For the overall win, Madrazo still looks strong, and those two final mountain stages should be perfect for him. Though, it would be very nice if Cunego managed to pull back som more time on stage 19, making it even more exciting before the penultimate stage |

A decent stage there - a decent size breakaway which gave some hope but ultimately caught and the big guns fight it out which is right and proper.
Nice ride once again by SRB to have Stubbe in the break, thats all I can ask.
Cunego surprisingly gained time, Madrazo will give his team a grilling there - but perhaps he was too conservative.

I, unfortunately, am seeing the points jersey fall further and further out of grasp to the point of impossibility. A pity, but stage success has been a major positive here, as has Costagli's steady mountain performances. If only I could figure out how to get him to stop losing time on the flat, hills and in TTs. |

Well that was pretty bad, and I thought this would be the easiest of the three stages to control.

Things have got much more interesting, not only because Cunego has clawed back a good chunk of time, but also because now we know differences, of this calibre, can be made. Even to Madrazo!

Grr... So close to the stage win. At least Amador pulled back some time though, maybe he can move into 6th by the end of it.

Wow, this is going to be huge, i hope for some more time gained from Cunego in the next mountain stage and finally the battle on the penultimate stage (sorry mb).
Congrats to Vesuvio!

My thoughts exactly. Same thing with PCM13 as well, really.
Cunego keeps surprising me, given that Madrazo is the better climber. The final mountain stages will be incredibly interesting!

Oh my, i like the look of those polka dots.
Intxausti seems very close to his 4th place baring bad luck. I also moved up to 5th in the team classification, but that doesn't really matter.

Is it too soon to say GG to Madrazo? |

Well done Madrazo! Proving yesterday wasn't a proof of weakness. It will be tough for Cunego and anyone else, but hopefully they're up for one final stage of fireworks.
And the 20th stage isn't looking much easier than the 19th
Thanks for the report, CountArach. |

I feel that sealed it for Madrazo, we have most likely just witnessed the "prince" taking over the throne from the little prince :-p

Excellent stage, held everything together, then won the sprint. Now just need the same again tomorrow.

With a bit of luck (or avoiding bad luck), Peter Velits could have topped 10 here.
Hopefully our goal of finishing in the top 10 teams in the PT won't turn into an avoid relegation goal.
