I suspect Henao might be fairly close to Keinath after the Mountain TT, although Sella might pass him. Trofimov is anyones guess really. I can see him ending up in the region of 8-12th really. Also Henao should gain time in the TT on both Velits and Sicard, although I'm unsure whether the gaps to those will be significant.

The Gavia may be snowed off in today's actual Giro stage, but the big Gavia ManGame stage will be up this evening.

Bennati 65th
At least showing he's not injured from the crash.

This opens things up somewhat, excellent day from Sella, Madrazo and the two the Italian GC riders.
The hope now is that attacks near the top of the Gavia stick, it's time to put some of these pretenders to the sword.
Madrazo I don't think can quite leave it to Zoncalon, we shall see if he can drop Phinney on the Gavia or even tries !

Sella is closing in for that 10th place and he'll probably take it. But, the good news is that Sicard and Keinath aren't too far ahead, so there's still hope for Velits to finish in the top 10.

Excellent Stage, I now just need 1 devastating attack, or two stage winning gaps.

That was another disappointing time trial performance by Spilak. Hopefully he saved something for the coming stages
Brilliant win by Madrazo, now there's at least tension about that big win, will be interesting to see what happens on Gavia. Great ride by Nibali too, and he'll be a dangerous one for Spilak in the fight for third.
That Gavia stage this evening will be thrilling, hopefully Spilak is back at his best.
Congratulations mb!

Lloret hanging on but I think Top 20 might be just out of reach for him.
Hoping for the 3 more or less sprint stages that Ciolek could grab something from there
Gavia stage could be really interesting for the "outsiders" trying to gain some time as there is a big downhill finish probably leading into a bunch of 20 mountain goats sprinting to the finish (well hope to be proved completely wrong)
As it has a big downhill part to the finish I might guess that the! hell will break out at stage 20 the Monte Zoncolan finish.
I don't want to jinx anyone
Spoiler but I guess Madrazo will win the Giro. Don't think Phinney will hang on at the Zoncolan stage as the mountain is so hard.

Another great TT from Fothen. Beating Phinney to the line shows every bit how well Fothen is fareing in these Timetrials. I always knew that Sella, Nibali and Ricco would do better than Fothen here with their national bonus'n'all, but Sella is still far behind, and Ricco is also a bit behind - which hopefully will be enough to secure 5th, although I'm worried that Ricco might top him.
What I wouldn't give to have my 1'30" back here. Then it would have been just 1 good day away from a podium, and ahead of Nibali at this point. But it's alright seeing that all of the riders infront of Fothen rightfully should be.
I'm really looking forward to see if Madrazo can get that gap, and if he can that Fothen is somehow allowed to join him, so Ricco won't catch up.

Seems like we will get some exitment in the end here, even though I still believe that Phinney will win this, the jersey giving him wings

Ahh that's right. But still it would have been interesting to be so close to the podium at this stage of the race. I put a top 3 Giro goal as I targeted either Cunego and Nibali this season, but seeing their wages I had to give up. That way it would have been extremely nice to get a podium from a very surprising rider
But like I wrote, I wouldn't have beaten any of the riders infront of me anyway, so if I can somehow magically keep Ricco and the other chasers behind then I have had a fantastic Giro GC wise. Next season I think I want a sprinter so I can get stagewins aswell - Hopefully Guerao can prove himself as one of the top-top sprinters in the Vuelta like he did in the earlier spanish GC race.

Well done Nibali. Really missing that 1'30
I don't see enough gaps forming in the 2 remaining mountain days to get an Italian on the podium, Spilak could even get more time on him. Unless Nibali makes a move on the decent tomorrow.
And I'm still going to call Phinney for the winney.

Surely not a greatest TT for Henao, expected a little bit better really. Attacking will be crucial in last stages of this Giro, once it worked out really well.
König with a really bad time as well, hopefully he will now try to go for KOM points in a breakaway once again, as his time gap is getting quite huge once again.

I really can't expect anything more from Sicard. The guy's been brilliant so far. But the top-10 aspirations look seriously threatened.
Oh man, Zoncolan is going to be fun
