Well - already on the second page of the summary, Nicki Vance pretty much states that he doesn't believe in what the riders have told him
One limitation of the interview process was the publicised zero-tolerance of the OGE management in October 2012. The doping admissions of Matt White leading to him being suspended by OGE is highly likely to have meant that any team member with any doping practices in their past may not have been fully honest in their interview responses especially as the interviews were not conducted under oath.
Not surprising. Would you believe any team that has Bannan not just involved, but actually running it? You'd have to be misinformed or dumb as a rock.
Vance is certainly not dumb and there's zero chance he's not aware of the Bannan doping youngsters at the AIS, considering how big that scandal was. I get the feeling he wants to say more but just can't for fear of being sued.

Interesting he finally admits it. He is either naive, or playing naive, hard to tell.
When so many riders consider doping as one of the many aspects of their job and see no wrong in it, they're not going to tell they've done something wrong by working with Ferrari (or another doping doctor).

Under UCI rule number 1.1009 "a licence holder may hold the licence of only one national federation", so McQuaid cannot hold a Swiss licence and therefore yesterday's nomination by the Swiss federation could yet be deemed invalid.

I may be very wrong, but I think it's not about holding a license to be nominated as president, but you need the backing of a national federation, be it your country or a country where you are legally a resident.

I believe you can only be nominated by that federation if you're a member of that federation

Gaumont is dead. 40 years old. Heart problems.
Unfortunately that's what happens when you push your body's limits with tons of performance enhancing drugs. As much as this guy was a complete nutball it's always sad.
EDIT: And Lavenu confirms that if Georges' B sample comes back positive, AG2R are out of the Dauphiné

It's twice they've announced his passing this week, apparently the first time he was "only" brain dead (doubt remains whether he once was alive there).
Expect other Gaumonts to happen in the coming decade(s)... |

Dunno if already posted, but Wiggins reportedly is going to ride Dauphine to "recover from his illness".

I figured he'd rather have gone to Switzerland in order to keep avoiding Froomechkin, but now we'll get to see how they deal with each other, especially if Wiggins leads the race after the ITT on stage 4.
Interesting. |

Possibly the reason for Wiggins going there? If he can beat Froome at the Dauphine, then he can make a stronger claim to be leader at the Tour

If Martin goes to the Dauphine, I suppose he will be wearing yellow after the timetrial.
Plus it might be a move from Brailsford to have them adapting at riding together again.
And last year their whole Tour squad except of Cav/Eisel rode Dauphine together. They might want to do that again this year.

This. Also being away from the Tour teammates for over a week would mean that he can't be constantly talking to them about this stuff.

I am already looking forward to the Tour, it will be fun in Sky camp. I hope for some Wiggo sabotage targeted on Froome.

He didn't find a team in the off season/after his suspension. Didn't officially retire as he still wanted to race the AtoC but nobody offered him a contract and that race is over now.

SMart move to quit. He will disappear from the cycling world, so when there comes a press release from WADA/UCI/etc that he is one of the riders got caugt in a doping investigation, nobody can find him again. Maybe he'll do a Robert Millar
