This would have been very exciting, and a good move if not for the crash Now it's just stupid... |

Tour de France crash THEN Movistar up the pace. Vuelta Sky up the pace THEN Movistar get caught and crash. Whether it's right or wrong due to the order is totally debatable but guess what goes around comes around. Big shame the splits involved a crash though

It was AFTER Sky upped the pace probably in crosswinds. Whether they choose to stop now is another matter
Exactly.
Yeah, they just started pacing for 5 seconds.
So?
It's not like their pacing for minutes, it'll be more difficult to stop, then.
The thing is that there's no reason they should stop.
Fair play is a good reason. But no shock that dopers don't have any fair play. |

Yes, there is. The race leader crashed. Whether they stop or not is their choice. But I've never seen this before. |

I'd rather be 2nd in a sporty manner than winning by capitalising from others misfortune. Maybe thats just me.... |

That's not a good reason. Tough luck for Piti.

I never said it was a good reason. But normally you'd expect that to happen due to 'sportmanship'. |

Fair play is a good reason. But no shock that dopers don't have any fair play.
Valverde was banned for doping offences, and sky have not, so there is no logic to that argument and Movistar did it in the tour AFTER the crash, so isnt that worse? what goes around comes around. if sky and katusha slowed down and waited, then it would be a boring part of the race, where there was the opportunity of echelons(which proved to be true) |

I don't think it's "low", but anyway, you should have expected it, because I've always been consistent with this - if there's a crash, the race must go on, whoever goes down.
