No? Maybe?

Journalist: We have 2 riders taking part in todays race, a 40km time trial. What are your objectives today.
Gilbert: I intend to win.
J: What about you Fabian?
Cancellara: I guess I'll have to lose then.

In some countries, the national championships are not attractive enough to bring a large field, so foreigners are allowed in, but can't win the title.
Thus the title (jersey and all) is awarded to the first rider of the concerned nationality, while the prices are probably given to the actual race winner. |

Negative. He is from just outside Memphis, TN (Covington) and just raced the Tour de Guadeloupe with the USA National U23 Team, eh?

It might be of a lesser importance to most of you, but Johan Le Bon is the new French espoirs ITT champion.
I remember having a discussion here about the fact he was already done one year ago, apparently he's still capable to deliver (to a certain extent). |

British ITT
1 Alex Dowsett Sky Pro Cycling 00:58:26 30.188
2 Steve Cummings Sky Pro Cycling 00:58:45 30.026
Great win for Alex. Looking in good form for ToB and Worlds ITT after his French succes.
Steve coming back from that injury is also great to see.

Expected win for Alex more like. I wonder if Dowsett will even ride the Worlds though. Wiggins seems to want to do it, and Millar was 2nd last year - theres only 2 places
