Hopefully the team can do something with three riders.
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"

AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Buninyong – Buninyong – 195.5km
Three riders who went clear after just ten kilometres are still out in front and have built up a lead of 7m 39s, they are Furmston/Jaco Apollo, Martin/Bianchi Lotto and Matthews/Team Novo Nordisk
The advantage has dropped below six minutes
Orica GreenEdge are beginning to gather at the front as they get ready to start the big chase
2m 44s is the latest time check to come from the race motorbike
As they approach the twenty kilometre to go marker the peleton has gained pace and is now within one and a half minutes
Bobridge/Team Novo Nordisk comes to the front of the pack to try and disrupt the chase
Martin of Bianchi seems to be doing the lion's share of the work
Its all or nothing as he begins the sprint for the line
But he can't sustain it as Furmston wins the sprint to become the new Australian Champion

Simply fantastic from Eugene, a future Aussie champ for sure.
In many ways I am glad the team didn't win the first race of the season, so now when the team do win we can say it has been an improvement. |

Wohoo, racing is back.
Real tough luck from Eugene, the performance would have been worthy of becoming Australian Champ. Maybe next year he will grab the jersey. 2nd is still a great result.
