Can't complain with Egsvang in 12th so far in Dunkerque without any real support

Great 2nd place by Yates in Fleche Wallone. Ardennes going quite well so far!

Better from Bardet to finish 5th at Fleche, expecting a podium at LBL.
Lietaer going well at 4 Jours de Dunkerque, hoping he can improve to a top 5 finish.

I swear every hilly classic is just Kwiat attacking solo, everybody chasing, they get back, and Kwiat beats them in a sprint.
We end the classic season with just 1 minor win for GVK, simply not good enough.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

He is by far the strongest rider HL rider especially with that MT backup, there is no doubt. Next year races might be more differentiate again.

Langlois is such a beast. Wow. I am consistently in awe of his strength and versatility. The stuff he pulls off is just out of this world bonkers. GC victory in Dunkerque is amazing, but he amazes me almost every race. I thought with a race that hard it would be Lavery surviving, but Langlois has such strong backups that cobbles are no match. Sucks to just barely get pipped for the win on stage 3, but I'll gladly take the GC win instead.
And on the cobbles at least, we have a team that can offer true support. Lavery has underperformed a little bit, but I'll take that with the Langlois overperformance. Seems like we had enough guys to completely control the race on stage 4, and we end up with a few minor GC placings for our trouble too.
Great start to my weekend!

Considering that Sagan was in 50th position - and isolated once more - with 20 km to go he was very lucky that the front groups slowed to a crawl and he was able to finish 11th. Thank you, Betancur, for that final push to bring the groups back together.

20 riders together at the end of LBL is unexpected.
Nothing in the Ardnennes for us which was expectect. A somewhat surprising top 20 from Juul-Jensen in Amstel Gold about as good as it gets. Maybe should send Kittel to that race. Hopefully with another year of development Provost will be competitive.
Rakotonjanahary 11th in LBL Espoir is one of the best road race results our dev team has ever had. Which is kind of depressing really.

Happy for Lecomte winning LBL U23 - his manager should be thanking me for that sideways training to keep him eligible So sad he didn't fit in the cap
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Thanks!
Great win by our biggest talent indeed. When he attacked at 20 km from the finish line I feared he might blow himself up, but he recovered very quickly the follow the next acceleration. Great working together by him and Ortega to stay ahead of the other favourites, to finish it perfectly at the line
Egsvang 15th in Dunkerque is not too special, but also not the worst. Rather anonymous race for him asexpected.

4 Jours de Dunkerque
7th GC from Eliot Lietaer was pretty good and Johan Le Bon winning KOM was a very nice bonus.
Liege - Bastogne - Liege
6th from Bardet not really good enough given his wage which means he needs to win the Giro to earn his keep!
Amiel 23rd in U23 event, give him 2 more years and he will be right up there.
Congrats to the winners and thanks for the reports and videos Shonak.

Obviously I'm thrilled about our season so far. It was another good month. Still 1st among CT in WT points, 2nd in Prestige, and 5th in CT. We've only had a couple of true clunkers, and our guys have been very consistent overall. Don't wanna get too enticed by a possible promotion push yet, but we've done well thus far.
Some great stuff in World Cup as well after Trofeo. Still a little confused about some of the rankings work (e.g. Grupo Argos leading team TT rankings), but we've had way more success than I anticipated for sure. Hopefully we can hold it for a nice little bonus at year's end.

And me! I helped with that, too!
Still a little confused about some of the rankings work (e.g. Grupo Argos leading team TT rankings),
Here are the rules: "For the team rankings the top 10 teams [per race] will get points. For that the finishing positions of their top 3 riders counts."
In TTs we only have 3 riders so all their positions count. In your case that's 1+5+48=53. Grupo Argos got 4+11+16=31 and Deutsche Bahn 2+3+30=35.
My team has zero depth, so no matter how well Sagan does we won't get far in the team rankings. Maybe the sprint competition because Howard starts in 4/5 races, but it will still depend on a third rider (which can be rather random).
Kwiatkowski and Komisarek rule the rankings. Come on Majka, make it a Polish trio by winning Tour and Vuelta.

Good were the times when we dominated the Colombia Team GP. Rankings are also pretty close, Pintzopoulos is having a screamer of a season.

Guess losing to a WT team in Colombia Team GP is no shame; we confirmed last year's 2nd place and did pretty well in our 3rd focus race as well.
Ranking-wise, we dropped a bit as expected, having only 9 out of 48 available RDs. But with 2nd in Columbia, 4th in Trentino and 6th in Rheden, it definitely wasn't a bad month - let's keep up that good PpRD value
However, what's clearly still missing are the big results, the wins. The difference even between 1st and 2nd is so big that without taking a win from time to time (and not talking about stage wins), it's not really possible to stay up in the rankings. Let's see what we can do about that next month...
