I'm happy with my training, went with a combo of climbing and stage races for Tao, overshot in MON quite a bit, hit my targets for HIL and ACC, just missed out on RES.

Sorry, I didn't realize research had its own deadline. That and the U23 selection will come now.

@Jandal This is just the race selection phase, you don't need to decide who to send to which races yet. I can imagine the race days for each rider would have changed a fair bit since then anyway (especially pot 6 & 7) so it wouldn't be as easy to replicate an earlier season's schedule.
I know lol Thanks for the "help" anyway though
It must have been too late at night and I forgot your sense of humour!
At least my statpack this year won't be entirely useless, but it leaves me a bit short of any primary stat improvements. Good news is that I think every pack should be able to improve 1 real stat for a rider - I've only checked the minor ones for Latvijas, BP, Italo and Qatar but they all have riders who are just 1/2 points away from a stat upgrade in the right category.

Yes those where calculated at Qatar

A couple of huge trainings, especially CCC, Magnum and Credit Suisse with 100+ stat points in one main category. Would be interesting to see the money spent on those
Also, some minimalist packages - were they bought for 20 bucks or even less?
More or less happy with my training, just the TT points I needed. Hoped to have one more Acc, but well, let's try again next offseason ^^

Sorry a little bit later than I wanted. If you manage to send me your assignments before Thursday, the changes will be considered in a database update before I upload the planner. Else it might take a little.
Some have already sent me the riders they want to use their research on. I have recorded (I think) all of it, you only need to send a message if you want to change them. If you want to be sure you can also resend the message but normally shouldnt be needed.
In case anyone is wondering about the training packages from Credit Suisse. I last had contact with Vali shortly before transfers and he's quite busy at the moment. But he was always someone to send in any tasks as one of the first and I know he had plans to train Villella. I felt like it is fair to use his remaining budget to keep his team competitive in case he returns.
As Villella is likely to join the 81 Hill club with Bardet just wanted to say I am OK with it and hope to see Vali back to comment on some Ardennes classics action .

10 already guarantees you 1 base point in one stat of your choosing for most stats. Dibben was 1 short in HIL and Howard 1 short in RES. Would definitely be worth it if it was a main stat (see: Qatar), these are just secondary. But Dibben is a Brit and Howard my main sprinter, so why not.

OK, thanks. I remember Bikex stated that "... but below 20 it can happen that there are no points at all awarded.", so I didn't even consider spending just 10. But that wouldn't have made any sense this year anyway, as I think I had at least 2 points missing for a relevant upgrade. I'll definitely keep it in mind for next time, though

Not the first time CCC is spending tons of cash for training. Possibly not the last, lol |

You can check it out with the statpack calculator, there's a download link in the Info&Links top post.

I updated the db with the U23 team selections: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ag12at....xlsx/file
Looking at the teams it was a good decision to change the eligibility rules in my opinion.
I might have missed it, but it looks like cio still needs to choose a name for his U23 team. |

Yeah, that 2021 U23 class looks pretty strong indeed. We should see some nice racing
And it's nice to see that we should have some Top10-Top5 contenders in mountain races (with or without TTs), TT-based races, sprinter races and maybe even on the cobbles (where Gorriarán however lacks pretty much everything bar the pure cobbles skills). So I'm definitely hoping to improve on last year's 18th place.
Furthermore, Ollero is the (shared) strongest 21y.o., so if I can keep him below 73.5, he should be rocking the division next year

Looking at that U23 lineup quite glad I decided to send Maricic and Vega (even with his training) to race with the main team. They'd be quite average in those fields |

Its a great competitive U23 field. In the past, results have been rather random at points, as most riders had a top stat of 72, a few perhaps 73 with some calc luck. But overall the best crop of riders have left the U23 before they often could make any impact. Looking forward to some more competitive U23 racing this season, just a shame that Renault Techno seems to relatively weak after their past two years of dominance.

Race Planning:
Please download this sheet: https://www.mediafire.com/file/95n9ep....xlsm/file
#1 Open the DB and copy/paste your entire team in the tab "Riders". Replace the example riders that are there.
#2 Go to tab "Teams". Look for the column with your team IDs in it. Copy that column. Go to "Selected Races" and paste it in G1, overwrite "Selected?". In "Races" you now see all your races listed and also race clashes, please remember them.
#3 Now onto the actual Planning: In "Planning", you'll see your riders listed aswell as the races. First press the "Clashes" button to have clashing races marked, also unnecessary cells will be hidden. You can sort the riders by name, remaining race days and their stats that are shown there, simply by pressing the buttons on top. If you want a rider to take part in a race put a 1 in the according cell.
#4 Try to send full teams to all races you are taking part in. In row 3 you see how much riders are needed.
Pressing the clashes button will hide unneeded cells and mark the clashes below.
Rules:
#1 Every rider has to race at least 20 race days and not more than written in the DB.
#2 Riders are not allowed to take part in clashing races, please remember that.
#3 You have to send full teams to WT races and a minimum of 5 riders to CT races, if you can't manage to do that pm me and we'll find a solution.
#4 WT teams regulations in CT races can be found here: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1188170
The "Check" button will show if any rider is planned for clashing races. In case you go over the max allowed race days or send a rider to a race he is not allowed to take part in there will also a field turn red.
When done, please upload the file this time and send a link.
----
Focus Races:
Please send in 5 focus races. How you perform in these races have an influence on your budget for next season. Within these races has to be at least two stage races and two one-day races. You are free to choose from every race you are participating in, no matter if WT or CT team/race. Depending on how much points you score in the focus race you get money added or removed from next season's budget. The TdF can bring the biggest bonus in budget, but when failed it can also give the biggest minus. After that there are monuments/other GTs, WT, CT.1, CT.2 races in that order. This task has only to be done for your main team, not the U23 team.
Send Race Planners please to OZrocker

Updated DB with so far sent in research: https://www.mediafire.com/file/tjjgwf....xlsx/file
Is there someone with excel that wants to get the race planners sent to? You'd need to check for their correctness and collect them in a folder.
Every team that sent in race selections so far got all their races.

Air Algérie - Navibulgar will ride the same equipment as we did as KBC. So will the U23 team.
