So, thinking about going to Utrecht with my lilbrother who also is a big Tour-fan. Never been in NL, any good coffeehouses to visit? |

Sagan is a threat?
I personally think has Kristoff has the best chances winning the jersey. Do anyone know if Bouhanni is injured from the crash yesterday? I saw he had been confirmed for their tour team but anyway, if he's in shape he is with Kristoff my favorite for the green, Matthews a good third competing with Sagan.
Degenkolb is tricky, he might take a stage or two but no more.
Are you saying Bouhanni is a better pick for green than Sagan, Matthews, Degenkolb, or Cavendish? Let's be real, Cofidis and Bouhanni will be happy to have a TdF like Coquard did last year, with plenty of minor stage wins and a podium for green. Even a stage win could be in the cards if it breaks right, but Bouhanni is not at all a top tier favorite to win green.
If Bouhanni is fit and on form then he'll be a strong contender for the green jersey, as it's normally won by the best climbing sprinter, which is why Sagan has won it so many times. |

Although Bouhanni crashed in the French NC and has cartiledge damage in his ribs, it will impact his sprinting ability according to him.

A pity really because with no Kittel, Bouhanni is the best natural sprinter there after Cavendish and this was his chance to step up a gear and challenge. Unless of course he's bluffing to take pressure off himself. |

Yeah, it's a pity, I think he will be starting though, so maybe he can still race well.

Coffeehouses or coffeeshops?
Big difference
Not too familiar with the Utrecht area myself though, sure been there a few times but not a daily visitor.

The choice is between Thomas, Boom and Cancellara. Who would you pick?
I'll probably transfer him out after the fourth stage, so I only expect him to score points in the opening TT and the cobbled stage.
I could take a guess and go for Fuglsang. He was there in the big echelon stage in 2013, in the 2015 Fleche Wallonne and in the cobbled stage in 2014. Not sure about his TT though...
Bro - assuming it's Velogames you can't transfer riders out after the race starts. |

I forgot all about Cav when i wrote that, but yes i still think both Bouhanni and Degenkolb got more chance on the green this year, even though Cavendish have won allot in 2015 he haven't proven that much, most of his victories came in Tour of Turkey and Amgen tour of California. He's just not good enough in hilly stages as you could see in Tour de suisse, even with the points on hilly stages being reduced this year.
Bouhanni has been probably the most consistent sprinter this year alongside Kristoff, Matthews and Sagan are good enough on any type of stages to pick enough points still. I don't think comparing Coquard to Bouhanni is fair, Unlike Coquard, Bouhanni has won world tour races and the sprint classification in the Giro last year. The only reason why Coquard ended third in the classification last year was because he was the only sprinter other than Sagan that went for intermediate sprints.

Cavendish doesn't have to prove he can win on the highest level, we have all seen him do it before with consistency. In any case, should be a fun battle for green |

Well, he havent proven to be a favorite for the jersey in the same regards of Bouhanni, that all i'm saying.

My breakdown of every team at the Tour:

mostly not new information, but it can be good to stepback and take a look at every team's aspirations for the race. |

already discussed at the stage 1 thread, it's likely that Boom will still start when Astana leaves the MPCC
