Hmm, I'm feeling a bit annoyed of this now. But I dont think I can ask for a rerun because one rider missed out

No don't. I'll get over it
Anyway I already started building a bit of a storyline around it so that would be ruined as well. I assume that means I can make other request regarding his calendar for teh season part?
Next time someone misses sending startlists it would be great to get a heads-up allowing custom riders to have an influence on their calendar as not getting to race also poses major challenges in regards to rider development and makes the season part quite a lot more boring.

Well, this break it was horrible, a lot of teams were late with the startlists. If people remain active on the forum but don't let me know they're quitting EPIC, I'm assuming they'll send in their startlists at some point. Only Luis Leon Sanchez sent me a PM to inform me he was leaving.
I guess riders of Garmin, Giant, Tinkoff and Vacansoleil need an urgent talk with their manager.

A top 5 would've been nice after all the support

Used some parts of last year. I'm lazy
The first of the 3 main Ardennes classics is coming closer. The Dutch region Limburg will host the Amstel Gold Race for the 48th time this year. This race, which was held since 1966, has a great history of winners. The first winner was the Frenchman Jean Stablinski.
The next year Arie den Hartog became the first Dutch winner. Later on we had some great other victories. Eddy Merckx managed to win in 1973 and 1975. Other main names are Jan Raas, who managed to win no less than 5 times, still a record, Bernard Hinault, Joop Zoetemelk and Erik Zabel. Last year it was Joaquim Rodriguez who outsprinted Alejandro Valverde after a tense battle on the Cauberg.
We'll go along the same route as last year.
which leads us to the following profile:
The final part of the race consists of some famous hills. The race is likely to be decided on either the Keutenberg
or the Cauberg
The favourites for this race are quite, ehm predictably, the Ardennes specialists. Since I can't be arsed to mention all of them
***** | Joaquim Rodriguez | **** | Rui Costa, Daniel Martin | *** | Philippe Gilbert, Peter Sagan, Rigoberto Urán | ** | Ion Izagirre, Bauke Mollema, Christian Schröder, Michal Kwiatkowski |

Another great preview, I'm hoping for a race with lots of attacking!
Oh, and please not Sagan again

In the team rankings, Sky remains in the lead. Belkin keeps second place, but a horrible cobble season sees the competition come really close. In particular Team Sagan, jumping over Movistar to 3rd place. BMC closes the top 5, and then the first big gap has formed. It's all very close there, about 400 points between 6th and 15th place. FDJ loses a few spots, but still holds on as best CT team. Is it Caja Rural on 16th that holds promotion for now. Lack of management means a big dive for AG2R, Tinkoff, Giant and Vacansoleil. Bardiani, Cofidis, MTN and IAM all win a few places, but nothing close to promotion just yet.

No need to say who dominates the rider ranking. With more points then the next two combined, this one goes to Peter Sagan. Cobbled season is over, so it's not suprising the other 2 guys know how to do cobbles as well. Valverde is best of the rest for now. Kittel is the first pure sprinter and Froome the first pure stage racer. Khamphan is the new leader for the custom riders after a good cobble campaign, followed by Verboven and Hanzen.

You have some small penalties for not making a deadline and a race overlap. Still have a small difference I can't point out, as non of the races so far could explain the 12 point difference

probably a missed top 10 or a mistake in race class while awarding points
edit: can you give me the exact amont of penalties

Well, Gilbert has had a terrible season so far by his standards. Now would be the time to change that.
However, I'm expecting a decent amount of fail once again.

Good to see I got 500 points already that don't come from Peter. Might already be better than last year. |
