And the surprise cards and "evil" teams add what to the game? Another gimmick? There was a solid idea in the world cup and it's just been overcome by some things, that imo, do not add to that original idea and weaken the whole concept overall.

the surprise cards can ruin potentially run games and the evil devil teams are a great example already. they are much much better then the national teams because those have no limitations. from the riders still in the game there is only one team that can beat any of these teams in each catorgory and that's the spanish team in the climbs (coincidence ) but everywere else they are outclassed by the devil teams.
SSJ2Luigi seemed really happy seeing Netherlands was first in the group and saw Roche and Martin strong rivals for Spanish riders (what a fool! xD).
