Peraud was incredible. Once again. Also, nice work by Izagirre in the end there, getting Valv back. Valverde has become a master of timing his efforts great over the years. He has countless times dropped in past Grand Tours yet often close to getting back.
Majka and Tinkoff doing the best they can after Contador abandonment. It's suspicious yes, but impressive nonetheless by now. Looking at Astana squad, and then Tinkoff squad, those past stages woulda - coulda been all hell for Nibali if Bertie (& Froome) were here. But nevermind.
Still laughing at Majka crying over Tour nomination

Yeah, they are stupid to give a top 10 before the previous riders in the top 10 before they fall out from the top 10

He just took some "energybars" to get through the Tour . |

Valverde seems to have matured alot. Even though he doesnt have the legs that he once got, he is riding very calculated and did a typical-Valverde in the end. Great stage for Movistar (Herrada and Iza did great, Visconti almost chasing the stage win), but I honestly dont get why Astana is riding a little faster to keep it open, let the french team close it out and let Nibali take the stagewin. Always easy to say after a stage, but it was the same on the stage to Risoul.
But Majka IS a star. Holy crap that guy is good. |

Why is it so strange that Contadors helpers are in such great form. And when they got big losses in GC its freaking obvious they got a great chance of stage victories.....
This forum sometimes man, just witnessed a great stage and still unhappy |

Energy wasting attacks for the win... no, erm... for the combativity!

Are we also going to call Rolland a doper? Majka hasn't pushed himself at all this Tour besides the few stages he went out on the attack. Very impressive performance, looking forward to his future career.

IMO he is riding the same way he usually does, and the same way he won the Vuelta.
People are angry at him for not helping and then sprinting away in the last 500 m, they clearly don't realise how the human body works and Valverde has a clear advantage on short efforts over all the other GC guys. |

What about Majka, Visconti, Rolland or someone? Not Bardet for a dumb downhill attack. But yeah, he's French. |

I don't see why Majka suddenly gets so much hate. He isn't any more suspicious than any other top climber.
If there's one rider with ridiculous results in this Tour it's JC Peraud who's pulling of a Chris Horner here. |

Tinkoff Saxo Team shows us how to get a plan B done. Unlike certain Sky team, whose plan B and C are failing badly. Everyday have to hear nonsense on BBC and ITV, about what Sky will do next. Guess punishment for staying here. |

At the same time he's also clearly worse than he was even a year ago. As a fan of him, its actually hard to watch.
Peraud to take 2nd on the final TT (There is one right? I haven't looked ahead at the route) if he doesn't before then. Valverde will have to hold on to 3rd if he is going to get a podium at all.
