"For me, it's better for me if we do the Stelvio, because things are a lot different when you do a lot of climbs in succession rather than just one climb to the finish," he said. "People talk about the summit finishes, but it's going to be a different story on Tuesday when there are three tough climbs during the stage."
Okay. Interesting here. Majka does better on the huge mountain stages, with lots of ascents and descents according to himself, but I do not know how much to put in that. I hope he recovers well on this rest day, and will be back tomorrow with good legs.
But if Aru would get the white or even Quintana, I would not mind at all. Those are two spectacular riders, and talented as hell.

He has certainly shown that he is very good at pacing himself and judging his effort so I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case. Days like yesterday are not designed for that sort of rider as everyone gets to the final climb fresher and so there can be more explosive attacks.
The throat infection that Quintana has since a week is afecting his right ear now too and the bronchitis pozzovivo has is not getting better so lets hope Aru has recover from his attack on Sunday otherwise we are not going to see any action of the top 5 maybe only Rolland of the top 10 will dare to attack.

If Pozzovivo does actually have Bronchitis then he is cooked for the Giro, tomorrow would just be hell with Bronchitis not just because of the epic nature of the stage but also the cold.

Precisely. I think the big stages will suit him quite well, as it was seen on the stage to Oropa, where he recovered well. All the remaining stages has a lot of climbing before the final ascent, which apparently will suit him better.
I assume you're referring to the 'TV' sign in the valley after the Stelvio - TV stands for 'traguardo volante' which is Italian for intermediate sprint, and so does not reflect where the TV coverage will start

I believe Eurosport is not showing the Giro before 2.30 CET tomorrow, due to French Open.
Live images are produced for the entire stage, so other national broadcasters will show the stage in its entirety.
And even with Eurosport, they should be going live right about the time that the peleton will start climbing Stelvio.
But indeed, many people mistake the 'TV' for being the point at which live coverage starts. I don't blame them, though. It is not the smartest abbreviation to use.

Pictures like those really make you wonder: who the hell decided to put that road there? And who the hell actually put that road there? It's crazy work
