Yeah, the thing i hate with the planner in-game is that u can't see how many days the riders are going to race.... |

Just had an amzing stage on the last stage of the TDU with tons of echelons. Great gameplay.

I'm planning on doing a new "Project 2100" and I have a question to those of you who followed it; what was it missing? Was there something that could be done differently to make it more exciting?

Haven't followed it, but I'm really interested Cactus!
Maybe you should use Kentaurus' XML files? Or not, to cause total chaos

So far surprisingly not. In played stages the peloton picked up breakaway mostly at 10k left to go, sometimes closer but that's all right. Break made it once to the finish in 10 stages.

You can take a look in the PCM11 Story-section if you're interested. It's called "Project 2100" and was a new type of story I came up with.

It was pretty good first time round, and doing anything majorly new or different i doubt will add anything of value.
I would however wait for the big Daily DB though.

Yeah, I'm going to wait for the final DB anyway. I'm just in the stage of "planning" right now.
I learnt a few things the first time around so I know what to do in order to avoid some of the problems I faced last time, such as 18 Team Skys and 21 Rabobanks.

Well yeah, avoid that. And perhaps fiddle with the rate of development a bit as well.
You could also add some color and enthusiasm to the end of year round-ups. Perhaps do special reports for some of the big races or months (eg. GT's, Cobbles, Ardennes) as well.
And now with the Three-Tier system a shorter round up of the PCT would be very interesting as well, focused around some of the bigger .HC races like AToC and the chase for Promotions (could also do a round up of the chase for promotion to the PCT)

Took the idea from Lotto and am executing it with OPQS: So I have a main team but I also have a minor part of the team which is all about development, riding together most of the time in races like Malaysia, but also WT race like Poland etc.
It's a lot of fun. One time you're fighting for P-N with Kwiatek, sprinting with Cavendish. The other time you're scraping together just enough energy to get a top 10 with a young sprinter in a small stage race. |

OPQS is just the team with the most fun to play with, at least for me

Tone the development down? I think I set it at .3 last time.
Yeah, with the new tier-system I'm going to have to rethink it a little bit. I wish Cyanide would have consulted me before implementing it! I've been toying with the idea of a monthly round-up or something similar. The trick is finding the right amount of detail, one update per year might be to little and going to indepth would take ages to advance.

Yes, lots of race-days doesn't have an influence on the max form anymore.

Hey guys.
I want to start a career but the one thing I really need are lots of variants for different tours. At this moment I'm playing with Jeleyh's db that includes some variants I understood but I want more. So how do you put new variants in your game?
I can find many variants but I just don't know how to put them in my game..
Thx a lot !

It's easy. Find the folder CM_Stages, wherever your game is on your computer. There you can add variants. Just download a variant and copy-paste it in that folder under the right name.
For example, a tdf variant should be named top_tdf_01_v1 (01 is the stage, v1 variant name) |
